Not Here ( Sonadow )

Chapter 1

Both Sonic and Shadow are standing across from each other in the woods. Sonic was staring at the ground. He seemed quiet, too quiet... Shadow was glaring at him with his arms crossed. "I warned you didn't I, Faker?" He growled. "We all did, and what did you do?!" He yelled at him. The silence was too loud. "WHAT DID YOU D—" "SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!" The blue hedgehog punched him directly in the face knocking him over.

Shadow looked at him while holding his cheek. "I GET IT! I FUCKING GET IT SHADOW!" Sonic looked at him with an angry, tear streaming look. "I WAS TRYING TO HELP EVERYONE, I WAS TRYING TO HELP AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN!" Sonic had his hand on his chest.

"I GET BLAMED, FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING! IT'S ALL ON ME ISN'T IT?!" He was breathing heavily while Shadow stared in shock. "DO YOU ALL EVEN CARE ABOUT ME? OR YOU ALL SEE ME, AS A DAMN ITEM?!" He stared at the ground.

"ASK ME IF I WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN! ASK ME SHADOW!" Sonic grabbed him by the collar and his fur went darker. Shadow couldn't say anything. He wasn't expecting Sonic, of all Mobians to snap. "TELL ME WHY!!" He yelled. Shadow quickly pushed him off.

"Nothing to say, Shadow?..." Sonic glared at him. "NOTHING?!" He yelled. "Sonic, calm down—" "AND YOU'RE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN?!" Sonic grabbed his fur in frustration. He let out a watery laugh. "I can't believe I called you guys my friends..." He mumbled. Shadow took a step forward, "Sonic—" "GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!" Sonic punched him again.

"ALL OF THIS IS BECAUSE OF ME, HUH?! WHAT WILL BE BETTER?! WHAT?!" Sonic stomped on the ground. Shadow was about to open his mouth but Sonic beat him to it. "WHAT IF IT WAS IT BETTER IF I DON'T EXIST IN EVERYONE'S LIVES?! IT WOULD BE BETTER IF I. NEVER. EXISTED." "SONIC ARE YOU HEARING YOURSELF RIGHT NOW?!" Shadow yelled back.

Silence was back. Sonic didn't say a word, he turned his back and walked off. Shadow was about to follow him, "Don't even try to follow me and show pity." Sonic spat. Shadow stopped moving as he watched the blue hedgehog walk off. He stopped a bit. "Oh and Shadow?" Sonic asked.

Shadow looked at him in silence. "Tell everyone I quit." He said with venom in his voice leaving a stunned ebony hedgehog where he was. Sonic was no longer there, he must've ran off. Shadow looked at the ground in pure silence. "What have we done?.." He mumbled under his breath.

Two Days Later....

It's been two days, since Sonic left. It felt different without the blue male. The grass doesn't seem any greener, no one seemed happy. Everyone was gathered around in Tails's house. "I knew something was off with Blue..." Rouge said. "I should've helped defending him yet I stood there and watched you all yell at him." She looks at everyone else with their faces covered with guilt.

"What do you all have to say for yourselves?" She asked them receiving silence. She sighed and gets up from her seat. "I'm going to go find him before he does something completely stupid." She told them all and left. Everyone else were still quiet. "I can't believe this is our fault..." Amy puts her head down. "I didn't know he was going through all of that pressure...Now look what we did." Tails looked up at the ceiling.

"Do we even call ourselves his friends?" Amy asked. "We were just scolding him—" "So yelling at him was okay?" Shadow asked standing in the corner. "You were yelling at him too!" Tails yelled at him. "And I deserved that punch. He was his limit." He closed his eyes. "We all want to stop Eggman, but we pressured Sonic to the point he quits being a hero, and it's on us for being like that." Tails mumbled.

"Damn it, if only we could make it up to him but I don't think he'll forgive us." Amy frowned. "I wonder how he's doing now..."
