Prologue

Lily and Sirius had just broken up, their relationship didn't work but their friendship did and so they maintained a close friendship, Lily was pregnant with Sirius's child only she didn't know it yet. September 1988 when Lily gave birth to a baby girl, despite being cautious Sirius the child was his but bore Lily and James no hate, he loved his friends too much for that, July 31st 1990 was when Harry James Potter was born and with two children the Potter family complete even if one of them wasn't a Potter biologically, but James didn't care he loved Leah like his own, August 1st was when Leah was taken, lily took the two to the park and turned her back for a moment to check on Harry and in that moment while her back was turned Leah was taken and no-one knew where the girl was, Lily felt immense guilt because she thinks that if she waited for James to finish work Leah would still be there. The whole wizarding world helped with the search and she was lost assumed dead, August 1st was not a date they like and never would be.
