You had always been beaten and abused by your family. You had always wanted to leave, but you always thought 'Where would I go if I ran away, plus it'd just be pointless because Father and Uncle would just come after me '. Whenever they were mean to you, you just thought of the song Titanium. "Come here you worthless Bitch." screamed Father. You ran as fast as you could to him, only to be met with a glass bottle to your face. Your right cheek started to bleed instantly. Father started laughing and you could tell he was really drunk. Father then took off his belt and started to hit you with it many times. He didn't stop until ten minutes later, he passed out on the floor. You limped in pain to your cot in the basement and looked into your little hand mirror. What you saw really shocked you, you were covered in blood and bruises. ' I will get out of here, even if it's the last thing I do.' You thought before falling asleep while thinking of the song Titanium.
