i turned of my phone and got up to get a glass of water from the kitchen,the sound of the floorboards creaking filled my ears on my way down.

once i chugged the cold glass of water i ran back up to my room and plopped myself in again.

i turned my phone on my phone to check the time and my notifications on my lockscreen.
