"Indeed sect leader Yao. Shall I remind you what happened to us when we stayed quiet because we were afraid of the Wen sect. Almost all sects were massacred, wiped out and we were forced into an all out war."

This was the last straw before everyone was shouting for Wei Wuxian's head. Jin Guangshan was quiet pleased with himself and he looked at his bastard son with a look. The smart fox understood him immediately and stepped forward, bowing to the crowd with his signature smile.

"Fellow sect leaders and cultivators, when we looked through the Wen sect treasury, a scroll had been found. A scroll used to spy on others. We believe that it was what Wen Ruohan had used to catch us off guard and attack in the most inconvenient time. With your approval, we wish to use it to see the Yiling Patriarch and prepare wisely for the siege."

The words were said with such confidence that no one could deny the appeal of the declaration. Even though Lan Xiren's smile became strained and Jiang Wanyin's frown deepened, the cracks of Zidian showing his displeasure, none paid attention to it. He had thrown his head disciple out of his sect, he couldn't defend him anymore.

Nie Mingjue knew it was an invasion of privacy but he still remembered how his little brother talked about his friend. Surely Huaisang wouldn't be friends with a defective and a traitor, he was sure of it. That was his brother that he raised after all. And, for him, that was the sole reason he would accept such event, and if it was really true that Wei Wuxian was a danger, they would cut him off before he became bold. If not, he would use it against the Jin sect. Surely he didn't wish for the position of chief cultivator, but he didn't wish the lecherous and greedy bastard to keep alienating everyone just to covet the Yin Hufu and become another Wen Ruohan.

Soon enough, a Jin disciple started drawing the array and poured some spiritual energy. Once it started glowing, he could see Jin Guangshan pull a red ribbon from his sleeve and put it in the middle of the formation. The implication of the presence of the ribbon had him frowning but he didn't ponder on it because the glow soon had gotten brighter before it dissipated. Now a mirror like form floated in the middle of the hall where everyone could watch and showed the entrance of a cave.

Everyone knew that it was the Burial Mounds and that had shivers running down their spine at the thought of living in such place.

'Surely only a demon would live there' Most thought.

The scene had zoomed to the inside of the cave and the silence was broken by sweet little giggles.

If people were confused, they could only gape at the scene in front of them.

The figure of the Yiling Patriarch was seated on a makeshift bed which looked more like a slab than anything else. Black robes spread around them in what they could identify as a nest. The owner of the clothes was cooing softly as he held a toddler in his arms, tickling him and watching with obvious fondness as the little boy squirmed out of his grasp and rolled away slightly.

"A-Yuan! Why are you running away from me ~"

The man wailed and crawled towards the boy now known as A-Yuan. The boy squealed loudly and got away, sliding down the bed and running out of the cave, calling out for his "Ning-gege" to help.

"What is happening?"

One of the cultivator muttered, shock evident on his features. Others were not any better and they only looked at each other as if one of them had any answer.

"I think it is better to just watch and discuss later so as not to waste time" Jin Guangyao stepped in. He knew if they let them speculate, it wouldn't do them any good. It is not like it mattered anymore. His stupid father went on with this plan as if he didn't know that whatever they would see would be their doom.
