On the first day of ninth grade, mom was getting ready for something. "I have to go somewhere before you and your sister go to the bus stop." Mom told me. When mom left, I got ready for school and Mavis said she was sick and couldn't go to school today.
At the bus stop, Lia was talking to brother. Lia looked at me and walked over to me. "I think we have a new bus driver." She told me.
"What really!" I was surprised because we had the same bus driver ever since I could remember.
"Yo, wonder who it is." Lia was wondering.
"Hey, don't we have an assembly and somebody famous is coming." Silas, Lia's brother told everyone.
The bus came but all I could think about was the famous person that was coming to school, so I wasn't paying attention to who was driving the bus.
I sat down in my usual place. Vivian, my friend came on. "Vivian, sit with me." I said.
"But I'm supposed to sit in the back of the bus." Vivian told me.
"Dude, there's a new bus driver, you can sit any where you like." A boy who sits behind me told Vivian. "Sweet" Vivian sat down beside me.
The bus started to move and I tried to see who the bus driver was, but it was hard to see because I'm near the back. But I can see the she has dark brown hair.
"Are you excited about the first day of school?" I asked Vivian.
"No, I'm actually kind of nervous. Wait do you hear minecraft noises, is someone playing minecraft?" Vivian looked around.
"Yeah, the dude behind us is playing minecraft." I told Vivian. Vivian turned around. "Can I watch you play, I love minecraft." Vivian told the boy.
"Sure, why not." He answered.
When the bus arrived at school, I got to the bus doors forgetting that we have a different bus driver. The bus driver said in a familiar voice "have a great day at school sweetie."
I looked back and sure enough my mom was the bus driver. "See you." I said getting off. Daisy walked up to me. "Hey, did something happen on the bus?" Daisy was concerned.
"How did you know?" I asked. "Because I know you too well." Daisy told me. That true, we known each other since we were born. We are cousins and the same age.
"My mom, she's my bus driver." I said. The day went by, and now it's time to go home. The famous person ended up not coming to the assembly.
I was outside waiting for the bus thinking what will I do when I get home. Vivian came up to me. "Do you want to play minecraft after we get home." She asked.
"Yes." I said. The bus came. "Are you coming or what." I heard my mom say. Thinking that she must be picking me up. "Hey I got to go." I told Vivian. I was about to go but Vivian took my arm and pulled me towards the bus.
I totally forgot my mom was driving the bus. The bus ride was uneventful and when we got to the bus stop, I was about to get off but mom stopped me. "Hey, you don't have to walk home." She told me.
Oh yeah, I guess I don't have to walk home any more. A girl Bexx was behind me, she probably didn't know that the bus driver was my mom. "Blink twice if you're getting kidnapped." She whispered.
I looked at her with Confusion. Maybe Bexx thinks that because mom grabbed my arm and this is the last stop. I was about the answer, but mom beat me to it. "Bexx are you getting off."
Bexx got off, as the doors closed Bexx was looking at me. I sat down in the seat behind the driver's seat. And the bus started to move. We arrived at home. She parked the bus by the garage.
