Heyyyyyy! So I'm writing another story but I'll be updating my other story for those who liked and are reading that one. I'm thinking of putting up an outfit for each chapter, and all credit for the pictures goes to respectable websites and owners.

Rhiannon stared blankly out the window of her moms van. 'This is our 3rd move this year...' She thought to herself. '3 more years and I'll finally be old enough to get away from that druggie, abusive, hore of a mother.' It was a hot day twoard a the beginning of May, and Rhiannon was already counting down the minutes till mother left for her business trip tomorrow , basically leaving her to do all the unpacking herself.
Rhiannon was now 15, she'd already went through college and actually just got out the week before.
Rhiannon tried to think of what her dad would've said if he was here. He probably would've made some corny joke that she would've laughed at anyway. Rhiannon's dad died 5 years ago, and for two of those years she'd go to his grave everyday and leave some sort of flower or anything else she could think of. Before they left for upstate New York she left a picture of her on graduation day.
Soon the cement road turned into a dirt road the closer they got to their new home. This time they would be living on a farm, except they wouldn't have any animals, just wide open land. Even though living on a farm seemed kinda cool, she missed her old home in Maine. She loved it there, but because of her moms job she had to leave it behind and move down here. Rhiannon was used to multiple moves a year, but she heard her mother say something about this one being more permanent.
After about an hour of twisting dirt roads the finally arrived at their new home. It was a nice White House about the same size as their cabin back in Maine. Their was a trail that led to the old barn and she saw a big open field and off the the side she saw the woods.
Rhiannon's moms phone rang. "Hello?" She answered tiredly. "oh...I see...yeah I can leave tonight instead, I'm not busy at all" then she hung up. "Rhiannon, I need to leave early for my business trip" "Alright." Rhiannon started to get happy, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. She'd be all alone without her mother, sounds like heaven. "Oh Rhiannon?" "Yeah?" "We have neighbors about a mile down the road, they said they might come over to visit you later, I can't be there because I need to leave in a few hours to go on my business trip" "Alright..mom" Rhiannon said.
( A few hours later :3 )
Rhiannon sighed in relief as her mom left, a entire day less of having to put up with her. 'What am I going to make for dinner though? And how many people are gonna be over...?' She thought to herself. Before she had time to continue she heard a knock at the door, when she opened it she saw what she assumed were her neighbors. A husband, wife, and three boys, and one of those boys was none other than Sawyer Frederics. Her heart pounded when she saw him. She somehow kept her cool and invited them inside. "Your momma's told us a little about ya" said the husband. "She has? what did she say?" "All she said was that you're 15 and that you've been without a dad for a while and you graduated college" Rhiannon nods her head. "We came over to see if you wanted help unpacking" the mother said smiling. Rhiannon awkwardly smiled "that's very kind of you all, thank you." They all started unpacking different rooms, Rhiannon started unpacking her room. She was putting up a photo album when she heard someone walk in. She turned around to see Sawyer looking right back at her. "Hey" he said smiling at her. 'Damn he has a cute smile' she thought to herself blushing. "H-hi" she said back to him looking at the ground. She heard him laugh a little. Rhiannon turned her focus back to her pictures. She slightly turned her head to see what Sawyer was unpacking. She blushed even worse when it was her art stuff. She quickly took the sketchbook he was holding and clutched it to her chest. "S-Sorry, I-I didn't mean-" "It's okay, I just...don't like people looking at my drawings...they're not good enough.." She said trailing off. " I bet they're not as bad as you think" he said smiling at her.
Rhiannon let him go through her sketchbook and blushes when he said he thought she was really good at drawling. He noticed an album in the box. "What's this?" He asked. He started looking through and stopped at a certain page. "Is this your dad?" He said showing her the picture of her dad teaching her how to play guitar. "Mhm..." She said sadly remembering that day like it was yesterday. "It's funny how vividly you remember things once you've lost someone.." she said quietly. " H-how did he die?" He asked a little hesitant.
"5 years ago my family and I lived in Africa, we lived in an area that had dangerous wildlife....one day him and my mother got in a fight. He left and didn't come back all night. When I woke up the next morning the ranger was telling my mother that he had been attacked my hyenas and that the wounds were too severe and that he didn't make it......" She felt him wrap his arms around her and he hugged her. " I'm sorry I asked, I didn't mean to upset you" "it's alright" she said blushing as she hugged him back. "Sawyer..?" "Hm?" "Believe it or not that's the first hug I've had in 5 years....." She felt him hug her a little tighter before he let go. Sawyer helped her unpack the ret of her stuff and help finish the room. They unpacked some more and talked some more till it was late and they had to go. Before they left Sawyer took her phone and handed her his. " you seem pretty cool and fun to be around so I thought we could text and stuff ya know?" He explained while they put in their phone numbers. Rhiannon smiled and handed him his phone as he did with her.
Not even 10 minutes later she got a text saying "hey :)" and she smiled to herself over the fact she finally had a friend.
