I know it's been a while, but I'm back! School is an ass, so be ready if my chapter uploads are slow!

Let's start!

After the shopping at the mall, me and Sera took the time to renovate our new home. Sera got some video games, groceries, a big fridge, and a bunch of strange items like a weird thing that she stood on that levitated. A hover... mat, perhaps? I just helped build the large beds, integrate the washer and dryer... I did a lot more than I think I did.

Y/N: "...Sera."

Seraphine: "Y-Yeah, Y/N?"

Y/N: "For the love of god, how."

Seraphine just looked away.

Y/N: "How. I want to know how."

The sound of beeping and the smell of smoke filled the kitchen.

Seraphine: "W-Well, I thought I could boil some water-"

Y/N: "You didn't boil the water, you somehow set the damn water on fire! How is that even possible!? Sera, weren't you taught how to cook?!"

Seraphine: "All of the stuff here is new! I didn't even know how to turn the stove off!"

Y/N: "...I'll teach you how to use it later. We gotta get ready for school."

I sighed and looked to the toaster, using a quick hack and popping out two fresh and crunchy looking pieces of toast.

Seraphine: "When did you-"

Y/N: "Before I went to the restroom. It's my way of being precautious in case something happens to the food."

Seraphine: "It's like you don't trust my cooking skills..."

Y/N: "We live in a decent house that has a stove you don't know how to use. And probably some more stuff you don't know how to use. We're bound to make a mistake somewhere. Never can be too careful, right?"

Seraphine: "...Y/N, how did I meet such a guy like you? Am I lucky? Is this fate in play!?"

Y/N: "...Sera, I think the coffee beans had something you shouldn't have drank."

Sera's phone rang, signaling it was time to head to school.

Seraphine/(Y/N): "Shoot, we're going to be late!"

Me and Sera grabbed the pieces of toast, quickly spread some butter on them, put in our mouths, and dashed out to Sera's car.

Me and Sera arrived at school, the school gates still opened. We quickly hopped out of the car, running to the gates. When we passed, me and Sera flopped, panting.

Sera: "We're... not... late... yay!"

Y/N: "This is... whoo, great. Wow, I didn't think I'd be so tired from panicking alone..."

A shadow loomed over us, golden eyes looking into mine.

???: "My, what are you two doing on the ground~? Planning on letting me step on you~?"

Y/N: "Miss Evelynn, you know I'm no doormat. I don't know if you have a superiority thing that makes you enjoy stepping on people, but I do not enjoy it."

Evelynn snickered a bit and stood up straight.

Evelynn: "So, what's with all the heavy panting like dogs in heat~?"

Y/N: "Me and Sera... had to rush here. Didn't want to be late."

Sera seemed to be pretty quiet.

Evelynn: "Late? What for? School doesn't start until an hour from now."
