Morning came with Mitaka waking up

"Tokyo temperature hit a record high today. Be sure to take sufficient precautions against heatstroke, even at home...and stay hydrated outside. Speaking of going outside, Chainsaw man has yet to appear this week."

'No scars' Mitaka thought "was it all a dream" She mumbled as she stared at her reflection in the window

"This is no dream, girl." Another Mitaka look-a-like appeared beside her bed that has a cross scar on the cheek, it shock Mitaka as she saw the War devil, She continued staring at the devil as she pinch her cheek checking to see if it was real

"This is your reality. Hurry up and accept it. Now eat and go to school. Disobey and I'll kill you."Mitaka didn't reply but continued pinching both of her cheeks, it made the War devil annoyed

"I told you this is no dream, idiot! Face reality! Look at the news!" The devil said as she pointed at the television

"Your teacher and the class president both died yesterday. We killed them together." As the devil said that it made Mitaka freeze and she quickly exclaimed "Excuse me?! I...I didn't kill anyone!" She shouted, "You killed them." She said as she attempts to push the devil but her hand went through the devil's body

"You can't touch me. Your brain is seeing me as a hallucination."

"A hallucination?! What are you?!" Mitaka ask as she starts to get nervous, the devil simply smiled and said some pretty unkind words "You died yesterday. I am the War Devil. I claimed your body. Hearing that made Mitaka completely free as she daydreams

As Mitaka walks to school still dumbfounded as she took a while to understand what the War devil said

"If you took my body...how can I still move?" She asks

"I left half your brain intact. I'm unfamiliar with human society. This should keep them from finding out I'm a devil at school" the war devil kindly explain as she took a glance at the girl

"Why do you want to go to my school so badly?" Mitaka ask as they got near the school gate

"Because Chainsawman's there."The war devil answered

"What?" Mitaka ask as the war devil told her to check her pocket. Mitaka found a small button. "A devil killed by Chainsaw man was found clutching that button. I checked into it and found out it's used for this school's uniforms."

'That means Chainsaw man is going to your school...incognito." the war devil explained, and as Mitaka looked at the school she got the chills...because everything that had happened to her is from this school "On second thought...I don't want to go in there." Mitaka said as she froze
