"oh, try to make me look really cool." leia said, and took her place.

nikki looked over at cherry.

"it's just a camera." nikki said.

cherry laughed.

suddenly, jay burst through the door.

cherry groaned, and stopped posing for the picture.

"ready to party? i got the snacks, nate's got the keg." jay held up the bag, and motioned to the door.

loud glancing came from outside.

nate rolled in the keg.

"sorry! i walked into a spiderweb, and she got away from me." nate picked up the keg.

"dude, it's leia and cherry's last night, and you brought that nasty keg from fourth of july?" gwen questioned.

cherry didn't tell anybody that she was gonna stay.

she thought that if she tuned it out, it'd go away.

"i'll buy you guys a new keg, that's nasty as fuck." cherry grimaced.

"i took care of this thing like it's my baby! till i dropped it down the stairs." nate said.

"just like mom did to you?" gwen questioned.

cherry laughed.

"burn!" jay shouted.

"and now it's not funny." cherry frowned.

jay rolled his eyes.

"bro." nate said, and the pair began their bro repetition.

"old, flat, skunky beer? we are not this desperate." ozzie interrupted.

nate shrugged.

turns out, they were that desperate.

minutes later, the group was pouring out drinks.

they danced along to the music, ignoring how flat the alcohol was.

jay glanced across at cherry every few minutes, and she looked away from him instantly.

"i think i'm a really good dancer." leia wrapped herself in a blanket.

"you're not." cherry said, and took another sip of her drink.

"it's your last night, so sure." gwen shrugged.

leia ignored the comments.

she turned to the boy on the seat. "ozzie, are you gonna be sad when i'm gone?"

"uh.." ozzie trailed off. "no. but i'll be sad when cherry leaves."

"aw!" cherry grinned.

"he isn't great about expressing his emotions." gwen defended.

"but he just-" leia began.

"doesn't matter." gwen said.

the group went silent.

"well, this is the perfect last night to cap off the perfect summer." leia grinned, changing the subject.

"i'll drink to that." gwen smiled.

the pair sprayed whipped cream into their mouths.

"i was worried when you had that talk with leia about breaking things off, it was gonna harsh the mood. but it didn't! i'm having a blast!" nate looked over at jay.

cherry gasped.

"i haven't told her yet." jay said, awkwardly.

the entire group looked at each-other.
