It was just another working day for War.

Even Mark knows today was the same as the days that went by. Hauled in the shared apartment with papers for references and the trail of snacks that they have consumed over the week.

"I feel like shit," Mark says while he looks over a War who was busy cooking probably the fifth instant noodles that they have for the day.

"We just need to finish and send the script by today and we can have our grand vacation and eat like normal beings," War replies as he walks to the shared low table with mark and places the pot in the middle of them.

If you would ask War about his current job, he would have just looked you dead straight in the eyes without saying anything. Being a scriptwriter and on top of it being overly obsessed with the smallest details can really mess you up in one way or the other. Right now he and mark are working together on a drama based on the princes that the old Ayutthaya kingdom had and their main protagonist is the fifth prince, Anan Wong. everyone knows that this certain prince was someone who had many records and accounts that varied on how you want him to be. He could be the power-hungry prince that wanted the throne for himself or the prince who died at the hands of his blood brother and suffered many injustices from the imperial chaos.

"Have you seen the final cast list for the drama?" Mark asks as he looks over War while holding his phone to show the Group chat of the production team. This made War curious and somehow already judging the cast even without looking at their photos.

"As long as our prince is a decent actor, this prince is a complicated one and I don't want to see some lousy actor getting the role and ultimately ruining the whole drama," War says as he looks at Mark straight in the eye. Mark rolled his eyes at him.

"This one actor is interesting," Mark says as he points his finger at the photo that was on his screen that he was showing to War. "he's got a nice face," War says as he continued to look at his laptop screen, trying to remember the next scene that he was working on, "well his name is far more interesting than his face," Mark suddenly says. The statement from Mark got War's undivided attention and it made him more curious about the person that has been the center of their topic for a while now.

"Oh? Is he a pretty boy with a pretty name?" He asks and chuckled at his own snarky comment. "One of these days, your snarky comments will get us in trouble," Mark says trying to sound mad but his little amused smile gave him away.

"Everyone calls him Yin but his real name" Mark stops for a while and shrugged "I guess his parents really liked the fifth prince" Mark added and that piqued War's interest.

"Anan Wong?" War inquires and the latter nodded his head to confirm. He wanted to let out a fake gasp to humor his friend but he decided against it and just let out a chuckle. "What was that even for?" Mark asks. He just shaked his head and went back to working on the script.

"Amused," he said with a smile on his face. "Just amused,"

"Imagine being named after the most controversial Prince" Mark chuckles at his own statement "do you think his teachers make him read the story of the fifth prince in history class" He follows up and that earned a little smack from War.

"Just finish editing the new script," War says and threw some pumpkin seeds that he was eating at Mark who was laughing at War's remark.

"Do you believe in reincarnation, War?" Mark suddenly asks seriously and that made him go silent for a while, a random thought popping out.

What if he was a reincarnation of someone in the old noble clan? Was this his first life? Maybe a second life and he had unfinished things from his first life that he needed to fulfill?

The loud ringing of his phone pulled him out of his reverie and seeing the text notification made him visibly panic.

"shit. shit. We are so done." War ruffled his hair in frustration "Mark, Have you sent the finished scripts?!" He looked at Mark, his pupil all blown out due to panic and stress. You could say he looked crazed.

"yea, i-" Mark answered but stopped midway when he looked at his laptop screen. Mark chuckles nervously while scratching his head. "heh, I haven't pressed the send button." mouse clicks followed and Mark stood up, a clear attempt he was going to run away from War.

"MARK SIWAT" war screamed and threw the pillow in the direction of his friend.

"I've already sent it-" Mark answered as he dodged the pillow that was thrown at him. "Just a couple of seconds ago"

A frustrated scream and boisterous laugh followed.

That night was particularly cold but that didn't matter to her, all she could think of was the letter from that person. The person who had promised her to bring victory from the current war that he was sent off to.

She sighs in nervousness as she looks at the whole city that was being covered in snow as time passes by. Her thoughts are slowly becoming her foe, with her thoughts gradually becoming unpleasant as it goes.

"I know you're waiting for the letter but I thought that it would be better if you would hear the news directly from me," she knows the voice by heart and that same voice made her feel all types of emotions but what was crystal clear was the feeling of missing him. her eyes were shining with excitement and those shine weren't missed by the prince.

the prince gently smiles at Wanwisa. " We won,"

"Welcome back, Your Highness." she curtly bow as she welcomes his prince back home. when their eyes meet again for the second time tonight, her lips blossomed in a full smile.

He was home and so was her heart.
