Mondays were never my favorite. However, no matter how many times I prayed to God, Monday would still arrive. A new Monday means another new struggle to survive in school. To some people, being the perfect student is everything. But to me, it's not. There are many things I would love to try, many things I want to experience. Although, having to go through hell in school everyday and pretending to always be happy is certainly NOT one of them. Even so, right now I have no other choice but to sit down in front of my mother and smile like I'm an idiot in love.

"Ronnie dear, quickly finish your breakfast or you will be late for school." My mother said as she was reading her favorite 'Every week's Beauty tips' magazine.
"When is Dad coming back?" I asked hoping to hear a positive answer. But to my demise, my Mom answered, "Not before next month. Why dear? you want to talk about something? You can tell me about it if you want."
"No Mom. I was just asking. Thanks for breakfast." I said as I smiled and went upstairs to get ready for school. My mother is a very nice person and kind person without any doubt. However, for some unknown reason, I can't get myself to be free with her. So, instead I share most of my problems with my Dad.

I grabbed my bag, ready to go to school. After reaching to school, I directly went to my locker not wanting to face anyone. It's already hard for me to reach the class without any obstacles. Just as I was in my thoughts, I saw the last person I wanted to see appearing in front of me.

Oh no. Not now. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Kenna, my forever bully came in front of me slamming my locker's door grabbing everyone's attention. Right, It's my everyday routine now. "Hey, bitch! Missed me?" Kenna said smirking at me. I want to say no but I can't. So instead, I tried to ignore her and reach the classroom. But unfortunately enough, she caught my left hand and pinned it behind me making me bend down a little. I looked up to see other people looking at me. Sigh.

Kenna gritted her teeth and said, "Aww, little two bit goody shoes trying to be a tough cookie. How cute." Suddenly she turned me around and said, "Where is my homework? I clearly remember telling you to do it. SO.WHERE.IS.IT?"

"I-I forgot. I'm sorry..." I stuttered as her grip on my hand was getting tighter. Even if I want, I can't fight her back. She is the principal's daughter of this school and even if I fight her back, she has a whole gang and unfortunately, I don't know how to fight against 10 people at a time. Suddenly she tightly slapped me on my cheek as I was in shock. Then she grabbed my homework and tore it while saying, "People who don't know their place, should be taught a lesson."

As soon as she walked away, I grabbed my torn pieces of homework as I watched everyone in the hallway gossiping.

That's it. That's enough. Time to rock and roll now. Even if my my 'perfect' life doesn't remain perfect anymore.
