Start from the beginning

"No! (Y/n)! Watch out." I heard his faint voice call out, but it was no use. I knew I'd probably never see him again.

"Save yourself, you're our only hope." My mothers voice echoed in my mind, the way it always did whenever I closed my eyes. It's the voice that's been haunting me every time I close my eyes since the  moment that I've been captured. I failed her, and I've failed my siblings. They're in danger and there's nothing I can do to help them.

I felt a wave of calmness flow through me, soothing the panic my restless subconscious had been causing me. I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted by a pair of captivating blue ones, I couldn't help the breath that hitched in my throat.

"Anakin give the poor girl some space, you're going to scare her half to death." I heard a voice scold, the events from earlier finally rushing back into my brain. I bolted upwards, a little too quickly. My sudden movement accidentally caused me to bump heads with the boy leaning over me, I grunted in pain feeling the impact of our foreheads clashing.

"Ow!" He mumbled, moving a few steps back whilst rubbing his forehead.

"I'm sorry! I'm a bit of a klutz." I apologized quickly, looking up into his eyes. They twinkled with amusement.

"Hey it's okay, it was just a little bump." He smiled down at me, causing an eruption of butterflies to form in my chest. His smile was so captivating, I couldn't help myself but to smile back at the handsome boy standing in front of me.

"I'm glad to see you got some rest." I heard his friend, Obi if I remember correctly, say. He gave me a small smile and a reassuring nod, he was still sitting in the co pilot seat navigating the ship.

"I'm sorry for the question, but how long until we arrive?" I asked, anxious to get off of this ship, I needed to find a way to get back home. My family needed me.

"Soon." Obi Wan said before turning to look at me. "I had some questions I wanted to ask you as well, if that's fine with you?" He asked hesitantly.

"About?" I looked at him confused, if he wanted to know anything about slave trade the Zygerrian's had started on my planet, I was the last person who would be able to help him get information. "I wouldn't be able to help you on your investigation."

"Actually it's you I'm curious about, I feel that you are strong with the force." He looks into my eyes, raising one of his eyebrows at me.

"I'm sorry, the force?" I asked, confused. I had never heard of such a thing, is that supposed to mean something. "Does that have anything to do with the slave trade?"

"You've never heard of The Force?" Anakin asked me, that amused look still plastered on his face.

"Like, when there's a branch in your way and you have to push it with all your might?" I ask again, that's the only force I know about. Push and pull. Saying that aloud made me realize how stupid I must have sounded. "I'm sorry, I come from a very secluded village. It was very deep in the jungles of Scarif."

"No need to apologize, I'm guessing that's one of the reason's the council took so long to feel your force signature." Obi Wan smiled warmly at me, I felt my nerves calm down a bit. I didn't know if it was because they had rescued me from my capturers, but I felt safe in the presence of the two men before me.

"The Force is, how can I explain it?" Anakin starts, and I turn to look at him attentively, enjoying the sound of his voice. "It's this energy that surrounds us, it binds every living thing. Some of us are attuned to it more than others, and with time, we learn to harness it's power's."

"Very good my young Padawan." Obi Wan smiles proudly at the young boy, I can't help but feel my heart swell with pride at the praise Anakin was receiving. I shook my head, what was I thinking. I barely know the guy. "Would you mind if we performed a Midi-Chlorian test on you?"

"A Midi what now?" I turned to Obi Wan confused. The test sounded painful.

"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt." Anakin said, holding onto my hand. He must of sensed my uneasiness. A heat spread out through out my hand where he was holding me, I looked up at him. He had a soft look in his eyes, as he rubbed his thumb on my skin, trying to calm me down.

"Okay, let's do the test then." I finally said pulling my hand back to my side, giving Anakin a small smile. I turned to Obi Wan and saw him staring at us attentively. I felt the heat rise up to my cheeks.

He got up and walked towards one of the small cabinet areas located on the right side of the ship, pulling out a testing kit from it. He made his way to me and sat down next to me. Anakin took this as the chance to return to his position in the pilots seat, continuing to fly the aircraft.

"This will only sting a little." Obi Wan said, pricking my finger. He squeezed a few drop's of my blood into the small machine pad he help in his hand.

"So?" I asked nervously, eyeing the machine in his hand. They didn't even tell me what Midi-Chlorian was, I don't even know what they were testing for, but I was anxious to see he results.

"Over 19,000." Obi Wan finally said, looking up at me with wide eyes.

"Is that good? Or is that bad?" I asked hesitantly, his reaction was starting to scare me.

"That's higher than Master Yoda, it's almost the same as mines." Anakin mumbled from his seat, eyeing me with a small smirk forming on his lips.

"It's definitely high considering you've suppressed your force abilities for so long." Obi Wan sighed. "Thankfully we'll be arriving on Coruscant soon, the council will very intrigued by all of this."

I watched as he stored the testing equipment back into place before heading back to the co-pilot seat. I sighed slumping back into my own seat, I couldn't help the dread that filled me as we left hyperspace, the giant planet covered in twinkling lights finally coming into view.
