"Got it," I said as I leaned over and pushed down on the button.

I continued to watch the security camera, Burg and Xi'an separated, both taking a different hallway. "Oh, please let me take her out," I said as I watched Xi'an walk away.

"Burg is coming this way, go get Xi'an, but please be careful," Mando said to me, I could hear the worry in his voice.

"I will be, you be careful too," I said with an equal amount of concern. Burg wasn't going to be the easiest to fight.

"I will." Mando nodded to me. I walked out of the control room and took a right, before I fully turned the corner, I took one last look at Mando over my shoulder.

I knew that Xi'an would be using her knives, so I bent down and pulled my vibroblade out of my boot, I clutched the handle tightly in my hand and took in a deep breath. I can do this.

I quietly walked along the ground, making sure not to alert anyone of my presence. I stopped when I came to another corridor and looked around the corner. I saw Xi'an with her back turned to me, she was turning in a circle looking for someone to fight.

I lent back against the wall and took in a deep breath before I stepped out from behind the wall.

"Hi, missed me?" I said casually. Xi'an turned around and snarled.

"Of course." She laughed. Xi'an pulled her daggers out and aimed them towards me.

"Do you really think you stand a chance?" Xian taunted me

"Do you?" I asked her with my own blade raised

Xi'an snarled and lunged towards me, I dodged her blade and grabbed onto her arm, I pushed her away and caused her to stumble forward.

Xi'an snarled in frustration as she turned back to me. She lunged again and swiped her knife towards my throat. I dropped to my knees and slid under her arm, avoiding getting cut.

I advanced first this time, I swiped my legs out and caught the back of Xi'an legs, the girl quickly jumped upwards and managed to avoid getting knocked over.

I quickly pushed myself back up again, but unfortunately, I gave Xi'an the upper hand. She grabbed a hold of me and pushed me up against the wall with her blade against my throat. I gasped and raised my hand to grab Xi'an's, trying to keep her away from me.

Xi'an laughed maniacally at the panicked expression on my face. But her smile dropped into a snarl when a familiar, modulated voice spoke up.

"Xi'an, let her go," Mando stated firmly as he held his hands out to her.

"Why would I do that?" She asked him

Xi'an moved her arm backwards and then swung her blade forward with the full intent of ending my life. Panic spiked in my chest, my heart pounded in my chest, the world felt like it was moving in slow motion as the blade fell closer to my neck.

I felt a familiar feeling rise within me, I raised my hand to defend myself from Xi'an even though it wouldn't do any good.

Though, I was wrong. Xi'an suddenly went flying backwards, she flew up into the air and landed against the wall with a loud thud, knocking her unconscious.

My eyes widened as I gasped and stared down at my hands, that was the second time that had happened, what was wrong with me? Why does this keep happening?

A hand hastily grabbed onto my shoulder and spun me around. I glanced up into Mando's viser as I felt his eyes examine me head to toe.

"How...are you okay?" He asked me with worry in his voice.
