It was early in the morning Khadija woke up and performed her salat (subhi praya ) and then proceeded to great her parents , (mammy Ina Kwana ,)she did same to her father but no replies which was a habit he has .mammy smiled and was like khadija please can u get me a bootle of water ?mammy asked trying to cheer her up ,with a smile khadija stood up and went to lay a bit before sunrise . Without moving a step from there her dad bursted out laughing (dariya kike bani wlh )which means u make me laugh I swear , khadija have u seen ur self ur too fat I don't know who on earth is going to love and marry u . Khadija smiled and continued walking not bothering about what he just said because it's something she's use to hearing from him ,she went to hear room with tears welled up in her eyes,she fell on her bed with all the thought of where her dad could possibly be ?khadija was a girl who grew up without her father but mr.Muhammad abubakar was the only father figure she has , which was a step dad to her though with the fight and everything she still loves him unconditionally because he stood there for her when only god knows where her dad could be .being chubby and a chocolate skin. Khadija took after her dad face(mr.Ahmad rufai )which is no we're to be found .after separating from Khadija's mom . It's Ramadan period so , khadija was mammys best friend being the only child so she took her along to her aunts house ,(knock,knock)they entered there was Muhammad and faty which are aunty Zara's children .khadija was to babysit faty and Muhammad while there parents goes to the market . Faty being a 10year old kid while Muhammad is4 years ,khadija cooked for them by then it was 3:00 in the afternoon they all eat and it was finally time to chat taught khadija ,Snapchat was her favorite , immediately entering her snap handle she decided to add a friend she kept promising but fails every time because she forgets a lot ,so she typed farouq lawal and added a friend she doesn't even know, though it was her mistake from the start because she was suppose to search for farouq lawal maiyaki instead but got

Friend through the process .she's single and finds it hard to trust other guys due to the last heartbreak she went through ,and that was with habib who betrayed her and cheated with her cousin ,well did mention that she doesn't get along with her moms family members too ( her life was a living hell ) that's why she always prays to have a loyal partner and a blissful marriage in future . Most of her cousins dislike her for she was different from them . She was use to being body shamed or maybe criticized . Most times her uncles and aunts mocks her for being fatherless or some even say it to mammys face. That they wish this daughter of hers should turn out to be a hoe . They usually accuse her and pick on her for bad stuffs so that made her cousins feel it's okay to look down on her or accuse her of horrible stuffs like clubbing and stuffs . Mean while she's actually the most quit and reserved person . Khadija whose just a 16 year old young girl have decided to run far away from her family lots of times the only thing stopping her was the fact that if she leave whose going to look after mammy for her ? That's what kept stopping her .
Time passed by so fast and khadija was getting more attached to farouq they were still friends but deep into the conversation you can tell that they have grown fund of each other's company though she never told him her story ,farouq was a young guy older than khadija with 3 years which means his 19 he was someone that was breaking the rules khadija made about dating guy's little by little he was well mannered and she could tell that he has a very good background. They were both far away from each other khadija being in Kano while he on the other hand is in Lagos . Time flew and unexpectedly farouq decided to visit this mysterious girl he's been chatting with he came to Kano with his family . Not knowing that farouqs junior sister was Khadija's former school junior and a friend which made it more complicated and hard he arrived at Kano soon , he chatted her up to inform her and to ask of when and where they should meet . The two decided to meet the next day and in ado Bayero mall that's in Kano . But unfortunately khadija was pissed off because of how she would leave the house looking all decked up and in front of her dad . She managed to get dressed casually as of not get noticed by her father but he did anyways ( and where do u think ur going ) a voice popped from behind. Khadija immediately halted at her pace she turned and began to stammer . I-iii I was just going out to buy some things and he said looking like this ? Your just deceiving yourself khadija if u think ur beautiful , to even impress a dog talkless of a human and with that he left . All the courage and happiness that she had inside her vanished so before stepping out she got her nose mask to hide her face since she wasn't that beautiful on her way their . She met her bosom friend who is more of like her brother farouq maiyaki . Who's h decided to follow her to the meeting on their way there she remembered what her dad told her and bursted . Her tears began parading down her cheeks so farouq maiyaki who noticed that was like hey ur going to meet someone special Plsss don't ruin ur face , but she did anyways with the help of her mask which covered her pain and sad face she went their . She met a tall , chocolate skin , and a guy with broad shoulders . She was nervous immediately she saw him she managed to keep a smile on her face and chatted as happily as she could. But turned to meet maiyaki and he was off to only god knows where , she's use to him disappearing and appearing like a hooligan so she didn't bother , she wanted taking the masks off but her face was already ruined and swollen from crying. So she knew if she does that farouq lawal will ask what happened to her that her face is like that
