Chapter two

Sky's pov

The whole time I was with my mate I felt like I was floating on the clouds and felt like my heart was gonna pound out of my chest. I was terrified he would reject me and who knows he still could after all who wants a mate that can't even talk to them can't even say that they love them back. As I begin to think about all this tears formed in the rim of my eyes and I pull away from my mate and run to my father begging him with my eyes to take me home. I hide my face in his chest being shorter and smaller than most of the teens my age and he rubbed my back and said " son he's your mate don't run away from him he's not gonna reject you I know your scared but he's the one for you." I pulled away softly from my father and nodded still not wanting to go back but I knew I had to.

Sam  pov

When my beautiful mate ran off I was upset but I tried to understand. My father told me he was probably just scared that I'd reject him because of his problem, but I knew I wouldn't he was made for me and I was made for him. I waited not wanting to upset him so I just waited in the same spot. When he came back he had a pencil and paper in his hand and on it was written sorry. At just that my heart melted and I leaned down and kissed his forehead. I whispered " it's ok mate I know how you must feel but we can work it out ." A few hours later the party ended and everyone left except Sky and his father. His father told me even though he could not talk in human form but in his wolf form he could mind link and the other times he uses his phone or pencil and paper. Later sky's father left leaving me and my mate alone. He was very shy and stayed close to me which I didn't mind. I loved the feeling of him against me. I lead him up to my room and got him some pjs letting him wear them and I changed into mine and I got in the bed laying down. When I noticed Sky wasn't by me I looked down to see he was on the floor. I walked over to him picking him up and laying him next to me and held him close singing softly till he fell asleep. I laid their and watched him sleep and than after awhile I fell asleep myself. When I woke in the morning I felt cold. I felt around for my mate but he wasn't their. I stood up and looked all around for him but I couldn't find him so I went downstairs and heard laughing coming from my little sisters room she was four I crept in there to see her and my beautiful mate playing barbies. I watched for awhile and than cleared my throat getting their attention my little sister ran over to me and hugged my legs. In a high pitched voice she said" bubby bubby I found your mate he's good at playing barbies." I laughed at her and sat down by them and I played with them. Soon after we heard a bell and that was saying breakfast was ready. My little sister ran downstairs to join our parents and my pack. I stood and helped Sky up and lead him downstairs. I lead him over to the table and a couple of the pack members bowed and said "good morning alpha good morning Luna." Some of them seem to get hurt that there Luna would not speak to them because none of them knew he was mute I guess I should have know we would have to come across this sensitive subject sooner or later.
