"This one, sir." Ivan said, running trembling fingers over a large, dangerously sharp kitchen knife.
"Good choice pet. We'll do it on your soft belly today. Not too deep so it'll be nice and healed up when your new master comes to taste you." Lukai said, picking up the chosen knife and pressing the blade into the redhead's belly. Ivan hissed as the pain-pleasure assaulted his senses and hot blood spilled down his chilled flesh.
"Ah...yes, sir. Thank you, sir..." Ivan moaned. Lukai grinned and held the knife up to Ivan.
"Clean it off for me." Lukai ordered and Ivan eagerly lapped the rivlets of blood from the metal. "Good Boy, pet. Come on."
Lukai made good on his promise of the bath, leaving another trained empath to help bathe the blood and dirt from Ivan's skin. Remi was the boy's name if Ivan remembered correctly and he had been gentle, the two talking about their future masters. Remi poked at the cut on Ivan's belly, playing with the cleanly sliced flesh. Ivan delighted in the new dose of pain-pleasure until Lukai came back and yelled at Remi for giving a reward that wasn't earned. But Ivan pleaded that he had encouraged it and the boy was simply sent to his room without supper. Ivan was led away, fed his requested meal and then placed in a little room with a couch and a little table, nothing more.
"Alright, pet. Issac will be in soon. Just be good and when he gets here, listen to him as you would me. Put those on clothes that are on the table." Lukai said and left him alone in the little room. Ivan followed the instructions, putting on the plain beige pants and equally plain shirt before curling up on the couch to wait patiently as he'd been told.
Ed
Ed was pacing the meeting room again, waiting impatiently for Zarrack and Kavalry to appear. He wasn't waiting long when they finally entered, nearly as armed as he, Stede, and Izzy were.
"We're nearly ready to head out. We'll leave as soon as we hear the first boom of thunder." Zarrack said, going to talk to the three empaths that would be joining them, not quite as unarmed due to their gifts being their primary weapon. Kavalry approached the three pirates.
"Was a decision made?" She asked them and Izzy nodded.
"I will be making the change for Ivan." He said, steely determination in his eyes.
"Alright. As soon as we have Ivan and Aaron is working on healing any of his injuries, I will turn you. You'll be hungry when you wake up and he will need you to take from him. Your bond will remain and he will trust you even if his mind isn't back to normal." Kavalry informed him, patting his shoulder and giving him a fanged grin.
"Thank you for helping us with this, KC. We love Ivy so much and would do anything for him." Stede said, putting his arms around both Ed and Izzy's waists, holding them close. The meeting room door opened and Jim, Wee John, and Black Pete walked into the room. They looked around before their eyes caught their captains.
"What are you doing here?" Ed asked, surprised that they had come at all.
"We voted while you were gone... we're the most trained on the crew and that we could leave you and some strangers to rescue Ian. So we're here to help get our first mate back." Jim replied, toying with one of their knives. Emotions weren't their strong point, but Ivan had come to mean so much to them, to the whole crew even.
"Thank you so much." Stede said, tears welling in his eyes. A boom of thunder shook the building and Zarrack gestured for them to head out. It was time.
Ivan
The empath had dozed off when the opening of the door stirred him from his rest. He sat up abruptly and blinked the sleep from his eyes. The man stepped into the room and came toward the couch. He was very tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.
"Hello, sir. Are you my potential master?" Ivan asked, totally polite as he sat up.
"Yes, little robin. I am Issac, your soon to be master. I'm going to taste you first." Issac replied with a deceitfully gentle grin, coming over to the couch and settling down on the cushion beside the tiny, tamed empath.
"I know, sir. How would you like me?" Ivan asked, lowering his eyes so he would not disrespect the man.
"Up on my lap, facing the door." Issac ordered, pulling him bodily into place himself. Strong arms dragged him back against a muscled chest, a hand grasping his head and forcing his head to the side with a grip that would certainly bruise. There was no warning before the fangs cut deep into the flesh of his neck. Ivan moaned but the sensation forced a memory to surface, three hands touching his neck, stroking the spot where fangs now held him fast. He didn't have time to try and understand the memory as the vampire began to drink from him in deep gulps. Little sounds spilled from him as any pain faded away into overwhelming pleasure, leaving him writing in the vampire's laugh. The fangs were still in his flesh when the door slammed open and a crowd of people forced their way into the room.
"Let the empath go now!" Snarled a voice and the sound of a gun cocking.
Izzy
The sight that they found in the last room of the Hunter's shop was appalling. Izzy choked on air, his guts squirming. Ivan was looking at them as if he didn't know about any of them and withdrew into the vampire's chest as if he were afraid of them.
"Ivan... what have you done to him?" Izzy snarled, rage like a fire in his gut as he advanced toward the vampire with his sword drawn.
"Oh I've only tasted the irresistible font he had to offer. Though the hunters trained him perfectly." Issac replied, grinning as he pulled Ivan closer to his chest.
"Put him down and we won't have to kill you!" Ed shouted, done up in his full Kraken outfit, kohl and all. He seemed entirely unhinged.
"Hm... no. I've already paid a hefty sum for him. He's mine." Issac replied, dodging a flying blade. Jim growled, angry that their dagger had missed their target.
"None of you will be able to kill him. Let me handle it." Kavalry said, before darting forward. Ivan was thrown to the side, slamming into the wall and falling unconscious as Kavalry and Issac struggled against each other. But Kavalry was as much an empath as she was a vampire and a large spike of ice ripped through Issac's chest. It was over too soon, but he wasn't the one who had turned Ivan into the cowering thing and they all knew that. However unfortunate it was.
"Come on. There's no one else here. Ivan needs medical attention first and foremost." Zarrack shouted, shoving Stede toward Ivan until the blonde had collected the unconscious man's form, pain slamming through his chest as he looked at the bitemark in Ivan's pale flesh.
"Burn this place to the ground. Leave no evidences of this fucked up place." Izzy hissed as they made their retreat. Wee John and Marika stayed behind to do just that. The three men gazed at their lover and feared the worst, but there was no way to know until he finally woke up.
