======== Y/n and Hu Tao's dorm 10:30 am ========
You woke up by your blanket flying off your body, earning a loud groan from you, sure enough the person who ripped the warm blanket off of you was your roommate Hu Tao
"YOU SURE AS HELL HAVE GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO" she screamed with her hands on her hips, you just groaned again and rubbed your eyes, talk about worst way to wake up
"what gives Hu Tao?" you lifted your body into a sitting position looking at her with your eyes still half lidded
"WHAT GIVES THAT YOU BROUGHT MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND TO OUR DORM TO DO ARCHONS KNOWS WHAT" she sat down and inhaled deeply before exhaling, she just grabbed your hands exited "tell me everything!! oh- also your little boyfriend left you breakfast on the counter" your eyes sparkled
"he did?!" you got up from your bed running to the little plate on top of the counter
"wow- rude much" she dramatically placed a hand on her chest
"you're the one who woke me up with a scream" you took a sip from your coffee and exhaling with relief, after being woken up in such a rude way the only thing that could make your day better was a cup of coffee
"well??? tell me what happened yesterday~" she sat exitedly in front of you

====== flashback from yesterday 10:40 pm ======
Youwere holding Xiao with his arm slung over your shoulders for support, trying your best to open the door of your room with a semi-unconscious man by your side. You sat him on your bed letting a loud exhale leave your lips, he was heavy as shit for his size, you made your way to your kitchenette to get him a glass of water when you felt a pair of hands on your waist that soon hugged you tightly.
"X-Xiao?! what are you-" you were cut off
"why'd you leave me there alone N/n?" he loosened his grip on you, you managed to spin around facing him, but he griped the counter behind you trapping your body with his, his half lidded amber eyes staring right at you, his lips kind of pursed and his cheeks kind of flushed maybe from the alcohol he drank prior to him coming to your dorm "so cruel of you to do" you couldn't help but blush, his face was standing inches away from your chest but his eyes never left yours for even a second.
You gulped down the lump that had formed in your throat and you desperately tried to ignore your hot face, you just turned your face away from his and tried handing him the glass of water "J-just..drink this" he gripped your chin and made you face him again "I like your eyes" he smiled, something that you couldn't even imagine could make your heart pound...
and that's what happened" you looked into your coffee mug
"oh. my. god- THATS LITERALLY SO CUTE Y/N" she squealed "Okay, honest opinion here, you should definitely go for him" she said as she poured coffee for herself, you just layed your head on your arm looking at your mug imagining how a relationship with Xiao could be.
You imagined how he'd prefer indoor dates cause he hates crowds, and how he'd go out with you if you really wanted to go somewhere, how he'd act coldly towards you when other people were around but when you were alone he'd be the sweetest guy ever, how he'd make you sit on his lap while he played videogames and how he'd cook for you, You couldn't help but smile at that thought.
