CHAPTER 33

"Nag-shashabu kaba? Parang ilang araw kang walang tulog dahil sa malalim at pamumula ng mata mo."

Hindi ko maiwasang makaramdam ng pag-aalala kay Zoe.I know that we're busy but, sana naman hindi niya nakakalimutang alagaan 'yung sarili.She looks mess and problematic.

She looked pale.Her hair is messy.Lack of sleep is evident on her eyes but still manage to looked pretty and decent tho.

Nandito pala kami sa cafeteria ngayon dahil break namin.Medyo marami rin 'yung estudyante na naririto.Halatang wala ring mga tulog.

"I was just... Busy these days."she sighed as she fix herself.

My brows furrowed in confusion."Busy for?"

"Work."she simply answered.

I crossed my arms as I stared at her suspiciously."Work ba talaga?"

"Yeah."she rolled her eyes because of my malicious stare."I don't have a proper sleep these past few days because of the pending cases and school works."

"You should take a rest."I worryingly said."Parang ilang minuto na lang matutumba ka na.Don't worry, ako na lang magsasabi kay Rence na hindi ka makakapunta mamaya."

Magkikita-kita kasi kaming apat mamaya.Pero mukhang hindi makakatuloy si Zoe dahil nga bangag siya ngayon.

"Thank you."she mouthed and smiled a little afterwards.

I was about to reply when someone's got my attention.I tilted my head as I curiously looked at the person, behind Zoe, who was walking towards our direction.

My mouth immediately gape when I can clearly see her face.Damn it! I thought she was going to eat outside!? I asked Zoe about her kasi dahil hindi sila magkasama, sinabi ni Zoe na lumabas siya dahil doon daw siya kakain kaya medyo napanatag ako tapos ngayon, makikita ko siya!?

The moment our eyes locked into each other, I lost it.Doon ko lang namalayan na nakatayo na pala ako at hawak na ang mga gamit.At bago pa siya makarating sa amin ay kaagad na akong tumalikod at basta na lang naglakad paalis nang hindi man lang nagpapaalam kay Zoe.

"Tiffany!"Zoe shouted my name but I didn't look back."What the fudge? Bakit bigla na lang nag-walk out.."

I cursed myself silently as my walk started to go faster, gustong makalayo sa kaniya.

After what happened in the mall, I decided to ignore and avoid her.Just like what I've said, I'm moving on.Hindi naman kasi sapat 'yung mga sinabi niya para bumalik ako and instead, it gives me a lot of question in my head.

She has a husband so, why did she say those things? If ever that because she has a feelings for me then, she must file a divorce bago ko siya tanggapin ulit.

I want assurance and not mixed signals.

Tinext ko na lang si Zoe bago dumiretso sa huling klase ko dahil nga baka pumunta ako sa iba ay makita ko nanaman siya.Mahal na mahal pa naman ako ng tadhana.

Kitang nagmomove on 'yung tao tapos gaganonin.

"Ay wow, mabuti dumating ka pa?"

I smirked when I saw Fabiana's frowned face when I sat across from her.Napailing na lang si Rence dahil alam niyang magbabangayan nanaman kami.

"Is it my fault na excited ka? Ang aga niyo kasi pumunta."I sarcastically replied.

"Parang kasalanan pa namin."she held her chest as she gasped in disbelief."Halos isang oras kaming naghintay dito!"

"No one told you to wait."

"Kaya hindi ka pinipili.Ang pangit ng ugali mo!"

"Hoy!"nanlalaki 'yung matang tumitig ako sa nakangising asong mukha niya."Foul na yan, ah! Akala mo pinili siya!"
