"Hm." Evan hummed, tapping a finger to his lips before looking at Justin. "Are you usually this quiet? Because according to Varian, you never shut up."
"He's annoying, actually. He's only being quiet because you make him nervous." Nathan said simply, earning him a glare from Justin as he stuck his tongue out.
Very mature, Justin. You have the mentality of a six-year old. Congratulations.
Evan smirked, readjusting his hair, which covered most of his left eye. "Well I think it's cute, so he can be nervous all he wants."
"Hm. Wait until he gets used to you. You'll be duct taping his mouth." Nathan commented quietly, pulling his phone out of his pocket when he felt it vibrate and checking it, noticing a text from Andrea. Putting it back in his pocket, he looked at Justin. "And tell your sister to stop texting me every time she has a relationship problem."
"Duct tape? Sounds like fun." Evan said, looking at Justin. "I'm game."
Justin blushed slightly, rolling his eyes.
"As cute as it is, even I prefer some talking every now and then." Evan said, walking closer to Justin, who frowned slightly.
"Well what do you want me to say then?" Justin mumbled quietly. Nathan, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow, glancing back and forth between the two.
He was slapping someone if they kissed in front of him again. Especially considering the fact that no one else was in the store. Now Nathan just felt like a third wheel. And he was the only one who even worked there.
"Anything." Evan replied to Justin with a smile, placing a hand on his hip. Justin had apparently decided to be a smartass, smiling back slightly.
"Anything."
Evan grinned. "Much better. What else you got for me cutie?" he asked. Justin only smiled wider and ducked his head, shrugging slightly. Nathan, on the other hand, was close to rolling his eyes. These guys were ridiculous.
"One step forward and three steps back." Evan said, going right up to Justin and tilting his chin up. "I want to see those pretty brown eyes."
By this point, Nathan was just standing there awkwardly, looking around the store so he didn't have to look at Justin and Evan. Because this was just weird.
Justin, however, only shook his head slightly, though he remained smiling as he started blushing again. Evan brought his face close to Justin's and paused so their lips were close, but not quite touching, holding Justin's gaze. Nathan couldn't help the quiet groan of annoyance that left his mouth.
He knew what was coming. And he was thoroughly ignored.
Justin hesitated before closing the distance left between himself and Evan, kissing him lightly.
Nathan immediately covered his face with his hands, shaking his head. No way was he going to witness that again anytime soon. No thank you.
Evan let the kiss linger for a moment before pulling back, running his fingers through Justin's hair affectionately. "Good for today. I'm not going to push you." he said. Justin smiled back slightly in response. Barely a moment later Evan let go of Justin, turning toward the door expectantly. Nathan peeked through his fingers just in time to see Varian walking into the store.
Thank God someone else was finally there.
"I'd ask, but I don't think I want to know." Varian commented. Not that Nathan blamed him.
"Let's just say I hate being a third wheel and leave it at that for now." Nathan sighed.
Varian sighed as well, covering his own face. "Yeah, didn't need to know that."
