Y/n's pov:
'Xiao Xiao Xiao~' I kept repeating his name in my head
Today was the first day back and i was so ready to see Xiao again! Though still no text for him..i wondered if he even came back but then again maybe he wanted to surprise me so i was smiling all morning. I was thinking all Summer about Xiao and how i should confess or if i should even confess in the first place.
"Maybe I should wait on confessing" I say as I put my shirt over my head, "maybe I should try to see how he acts more up and close and decide if I should confess by the end of the week." I say while putting my shirt fully on and slipping my shoes on
Walking down stairs I saw my mom cleaning up from breakfast and I just smiled at her, "ok bye mom I'll be going!" I wave at her as I open the door
I blink twice as i see Xiao nowhere to be found. He's usually here waiting for me by now..hmm I check my phone for any message from him but nothing. I frown as I just walk to school on my own. On the way there I already thought confessing was a bad idea but who knows what else can happen from here.
"Xiao!" I grabbed his attention
I saw him walking into the campus and ran up to him and waving at him as I grabbed his attention. He looked behind me spotting me to but looked away almost immediately.
Weird..
"Hey Xiao~" I say as I scoot next to him
He keeps his vision on the path ahead of him, "hey"
I frown. "Soo I didn't see you at my house this morning! You remember the promise when you come back I'll be with you every second of the day" I smiled at him
Silence was given back. I sighed.
"Sooo tell me how was Inazuma?" I try to engage a conversation
"Hmm it was all right"
That's it?!
"Oh..did you do or see anything interesting" I smile lightly as I kept my sight on the path ahead me since he clearly wasn't budging
"Oh. I saw an oni. He was buff and strong and very tall.." he said
"An oni huh? Wait those are real?!"
"Mhm. Say..is that someone you're into?" He asked which totally caught me off guard
"Hmm someone big and buff..heh I mean not really my type.." I sweat
For the first time since I talked to him he made an expression other than his dead one. He seemed shocked but quickly masked over it.
"Oh." Was all he said
I sighed but smiled nonetheless, "you know that was a weird question do you want to know the type of the guys I'm into?"
"I nev-never said I wanted to know I was just curious.." he started
