I ran up the stairs next and found a door that had slightly been cracked open. From that room, I could clear see two shadows emerging from the room.
"It would be better for him after all that has happened between us." It was Silya's voice.
"Are you sure that you want this? The Young Master really likes you." Madeline's tone was softer than I have ever heard it before. She was right, I did like Silya a lot.
"Don't you think you should talk to him first before deciding to leave because some other girl came over?"
A long pause follows after that.
"I should leave." I hear Silya's shoes hit the ground and the chair move across the ground as she pushes it back in its place. "I'll be able to see him next week, just like the Headmaster told me to do." She starts to walk out to the door. I quickly ran to the end of the hallway and peeked from the side wall.
"Silya, please don't leave him alone. It's taken the Young Master a long time to make a friend after being locked up all these years." I could hear the compassion in that sentence that came from Madeline. Had she really thought that I had changed just even a little because of Silya?
"I'm sorry Madeline. I'll be back in a week. If you have any questions; you know where to find me. Her shadow stops near the entrance of the door, "No matter what happens, my memories of the time I spent with you guys these last few days will never fade."
I felt my legs gave out and I knelt to the ground. She kept making it so hard for me not to like her. How could she say something like that so carefree? She didn't even have to try. I placed my crutches beside me and decided to ponder on why I felt as if my stomach had butterflies fluttering all over inside of me.
You're so stupid, Silya. If only I could forget about all that you did to me.

From the window of my room, I watched Silya walk out of the front gates of our mansion. Her black seemed to glisten in the sunlight so much that it almost blinded me. I watched as her hair swayed back and forth as her shadow followed after her, leaving me in the darkness again. I wouldn't get to see her for a whole week. Was I really okay with this? I had to be. We were only friends after all. It isn't like we could be anything more.
I walked to my bed and got under the covers. I felt the warmth of the blanket rushed through me like the time when I first realized that I had liked Silya being around me. I tried closing my eyes, but all I saw was her.
There was a small knock on the door and Madeline stepped inside.
"You may be dismissed. I don't want to talk." I didn't look at her.
"Young Master, please listen." It was that same tone I had heard when she had talked with Silya.
"I told you that you are done for today, so go!" I ripped off my covers and looked at Madeline, who stood frozen in the doorway. It looked like she had been crying.
"Yes, Young Master." She took a step back and opened the door a little more until Frica was visible. "Your father wanted to let her talk to you before you went to bed. I will leave you two to talk." Then she let the girl walk in and shut the door as she walked out.
"What do you want?" I turned my back on Frica, crossing my arms and rolling my eyes.
"Jaylin, I wanted to see you. I feel like you have misunderstood me." Frica, took a step closer towards me.
"No, I didn't. Get out now."
"No, I will stay here." Her voice had wrapped around my neck, making it hard for me to refuse.
