You're like a flower I dared to pick,
Though fragile, a risk I chose to take.
I used to watch from far away,
But now you're here—I hope you stay.
I fear you'll wither in my hands,
I lack the care that love demands.
Yet step by step, I learn for you,
So please be patient—I'm trying too.
When you think I seek another’s face,
My thoughts of you still fill my space.
When you fear that I’ll forget,
Each moment’s carved—I won’t regret.
When you long to hear my call,
Know I've been searching all along.
"But why don’t I feel reassured?
My love, your words and actions seem unsure."
Perhaps because I speak too low?
My love’s in ink, not ones that show.
Each page I write, each whispered line,
Is proof my heart, has long been thine.
I live in dreams, yet even there,
You're in the world I long to bear.
A goddess, high, where none can touch,
Yet I alone, can love so much.
I never meant to make you doubt,
You’re all I think, within, without.
I know that actions matter more,
But all my whispers, soft and true,
Were meant for no one else but you.
Perhaps, I don’t deserve the love you give,
But please, don’t doubt the way you live.
You are my beauty, my rose so fair,
My dearest companion, beyond compare.
I may not change, you may let go,
But if that day comes, please let me know.
Just one farewell before we part,
A final whisper from my heart.
And if you find I’ve caused you pain,
Speak your truth—don’t hide, don’t feign.
I’ll make amends but won’t implore,
For love should never be a chore.

P.S: I made this specifically for someone, but we're not in the same frequency of thoughts and feelings anymore. If you see this, I hope you're not mad that I replaced your name with "companion" (ꏿ﹏ꏿ;)
