Dark Yelena: Stolen Throne

I've loved her since we were children. I think about her all the time yet she still sees me as only her companion. The princess in line to the scarlet throne, a high title that would soon lead her to become one of the most important people in the kingdom. Then there's me, just me, nothing really special besides being princess Y/ns best friend and maid. I've worked her since I was 4, cleaning, living, and learning to take care of Y/n and all her needs. It just so happens that we became friends during that time we've spent together but now that she's of age, she's now in line to compete for the thrown or even worse get married. We haven't spent that much time together because of the constant parties, meetings, and husband meet ups that her parents make her go to. By the time she gets back to her room shes exhausted, ranting to me about how she could leave this life and have her own form of peace.

I finally found a way to give her that. During my breaks, I would go into the forest and walk around. Enjoying the nature until I stumbled upon a huge tree, it was beautiful in all its height. It was peculiar not only for its oddly colored red leaves but also there was a book in the middle of the bark. It was just sitting in there perfectly carved in it, I was surprised by this and took a closer look until someone whispered in my ear.

???: Yelena~

I quickly weaved around brushing my ears trying to see who the whisper came from but at last there was no one in sight. I started to get scared but still went to touch the book, I carefully pulled it out from the tree and it came out with ease. I held the book before the wind (??) blew it causing the pages to fly open to a random page.

I read what it said out loud " shexdft wex laretaq unn carx". I mumbled it and the leaves around me started to swirl causing a barrier between me and the other side. I started to freak out and drop the book before I was met with a red orb. I backed up as far as I could before the leaves pushed my closer.

???: Yelenaaaaa, I can see what you desireeeee.

Yelena: what the hell do you want?!!! Let me out of here!!

The voice only chuckled before continuing.

???: I can give you fame, glory, and power. I can even give you what you desire the most, even Y/nnnnn

My eyes shot up in shock, how did this thing know??

Yelena: What do you mean you could give me her?

???: Let me guide you Yelennnaaa and you will not only have Y/n forever but also the kingdoommmm

Yelena: What's the catch?

???: *it chuckles* let me control the kingdom and you can have Y/n as yours completely

My eyes widen, I didn't give a damn about the kingdom. I just wanted her.

Yelena: We have a deal.

???: Sign your signature in the boookkk and make it official my friend

I picked up the book quickly and opened it to see nothing but blank pages and a pen lodged in the middle of it. I quickly took the pen and wrote my name in the book, sealing the deal.

???: Greattttt my frienddd, now let me in

I looked at the orb confused until it swished quickly at me knocking straight into my chest before everything went black.

Next time I became conscious I was with Y/n. Finally! However, how long have I been out??
Y/n saw me shifting and turned to me absolutely devastated.

Y/n: How could you?! Answer me Yelena! I trusted you with everything I had, why would you do this to me!!!

I looked around, I was on the throne and just below were a pile of bodies. I looked wide eyed before turning to Y/n to see if she was hurt, she was covered in blood but didn't have any cuts on her. It seemed that she was chained to the throne beside mine as she kept sobbing painfully. What-what's going on?!?

I got up from the throne looking at the pile of bodies down the stairs and that's when I saw Y/ns parents at the bottom of it. I- I couldn't have done this, no, no no not me. I looked back at Y/n who looked at me with hatred.

Nice to see you awake Yelena

I heard someone whisper in my head and I cupped my head roughly.

Yelena: What the hell did you do?!?! I didn't ask for this, I only asked for her!!!

While you were out I took control, it seems that WE got everything we agreed on. Y/n fell in love with you because of me and even gave herself up to you, but when she fell pregnant she proposed that you and her will be getting married her parents refused. The refusal was so extreme that they took you to the dungeon for "corrupting" their precious daughter. It was the only thing I could do to release you from their clutches Yelena. I slaughtered any who opposed to your marriage, including them and Y/ns suitor.

I was in shock. I was a monster in her eyes, I could feel my eyes burning with tears. I hated the way this turned out but really I couldn't be happier as well, she was finally mine... ALL MINE. I looked back at her, staring at her plump belly.

How dare they try and get rid of us! They even tried to have Y/n marry a suitor and give birth to what they would claim is "his" baby. They never were gonna forgive or accept you Yelena. This was for the best.

I felt tears roll down my cheeks as I turn my back completely on the dead bodies. I walked towards Y/n who was in disbelief, anguish, and stressed.

Yelena: My love, please calm down. You'll hurt the baby.

She cried still, trying to calm her breathing but she couldn't. Y/n was hurt, I could only imagine how it was like for her, having to watch the love of your life slaughter everyone you loved and grew up with. I cupped her cheeks with my semi bloody hands and kissed her lips softly, something I've been wanting for years. I finally have it. Her breathing quivers down to just whimpers every now and then, I place my forehead on mine and let my hand rest on her plump belly. 

"This was all for us"
