" It's just- well, it has been many years since you and Polly went to Narnia. You've never heard of the land again. I thought you could have lost faith. " - She said, shrugging.

" Have you lost faith in Narnia? " - He asked, seeming almost hurt.

" Oh no! I haven't. I still have faith in Aslan and Narnia. It's just that the last letter I've sent Susan, I've mentioned Narnia. Yesterday, her reply was 'oh, how cute that you still believe in the stories we used to tell during difficult times.' "

" You're worried about your friend. " - Concluded the elderly.

" Yes. Susan has lost her belief and it worries me. " - Olivia bit the inside of her cheeks.

Digory Kirke got up from his chair and walked to the youngest. He put his hand on her shoulder, and answered with a smile. - " She may not believe in the great lion anymore, but Aslan still lives in her heart. "

" I hope so. " - She said.

Digory Kirke looked at his granddaughter and smiled. - " Come. There is something I think you will like to see. "

—-🌊—-

The two Kirke's walked up the stairs of the great mansion. The elderly man walked in front, leading his granddaughter to the old spare room in the house.

They entered the room, and Olivia felt her shoulders slump as she didn't see the wardrobe anymore.

" Where is the wardrobe? " - She asked as she entered the room.

" Oh, don't worry, I've moved it down the hall. " - Was her grandfather's reply.

Digory Kirke slowly crouched down to the furniture and items that were covered in white sheets. He eagerly grabbed a painting covered in a white sheet.

" Here. " - He handed the girl the painting. - " I had this made long ago, and I think it will look good in your bedroom. " - He said.

" Thank you, Grandpa. " - Olivia said, engulfing her grandfather in a big hug.

" You're welcome, young one. " - He said, returning the embrace.

Olivia rushed to her room, and she found a space in the beige walls where she could hang the painting. She removed the sheet, and stuck it on the wall.

The painting portrayed a large ship, with a golden dragon on the front and a big single purple mast. The ship itself was very Narnian looking, and that was why her grandfather thought the girl would like the picture. And it was true, she loved it.

Olivia smiled as she placed her hands on her hips, looking at the painting. It was such a vivid painting, and it almost looked like the water was actually moving.

But, suddenly, a splash from the painting could be heard, and low trickles of water started coming down. Olivia widened her eyes and looked from side to side in desperation.

Suddenly, the room started to flood, and Olivia didn't manage to reach the door in time, because she was soon submerged and was forced to hold her breath and close her eyes.

She started swimming upwards, and suddenly, she was no longer in her room, for now she was in the middle of the ocean, facing the large ship from the painting.

She started to swim away, but three men suddenly jumped off the boat and started swimming her way. Though she tried to escape, the men were faster than her on the water.

They reached her, and she splashed water on their faces.

" Stop! Stop! It's me, Caspian! " - She heard one of the men say.

Olivia stopped splashing her arms on the water and responded. - " Caspian? " - She then caught a good look at his face, and saw that it was truly the Telmarine prince she had met a while ago. His hair was a bit longer, but some of it was wrapped around a messy ponytail on the back of his wet head. - " Caspian! " - She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around the boy.

" Let's get you onboard, huh? " - He said, flashing the girl a smile.

—-🫧—-

Olivia and Caspian were back onboard. The crew had handed them towels, and a few murmurs and whispers arose from the crowd as they saw the queen of old.

" How on earth did you get here? " - Asked Caspian, handing her a cup of water, which she gladly took.

" Long story. " - She shrugged. - " What is going on? "

Reepicheep approached them.

" Your majesty, " - Bowed the mouse. - " You're aboard the Dawn treader. The finest ship of Narnia. " - He cleared.

" Reepicheep! " - Exclaimed Olivia, smiling. - " It is so good to see you. "

" All the same, my queen. " - He smiled.

" I insist, call me Olivia. " - She responded.

" Where are the others? " - Asked Caspian, confused. He was referring to Edmund and Lucy, though he knew Peter and Susan weren't coming back.

" I dunno. I haven't seen them in a few weeks. " - The girl replied, taking a sip of her water.

" Well. " - Caspian said, taking a hold of her hand, and pulling her to the top of the stairs on the frontside of the ship.

" Gentlemen! " - Caspian exclaimed. All the crew turned their attention to the king. - " Welcome our new crew member, Olivia the Warrior, High queen of Narnia! " - He said, raising their joined hands.

Olivia smiled as the men clapped and kneeled, and she turned her gaze to Caspian, who was still holding her hand and flashing her a smile. ( Olivia had to admit, the boy was looking incredibly handsome. )

And Olivia felt like she was at home again.
