Love is like fire in the rain,
Love is lies and heartbreak,
It's so good but it ruins you,
Breaks you down until you're just a shell of the person you used to be.
Love is a person,
Someone who you trust with your life,
Someone you trust not to hurt you,
Someone who can take all you know and all you want.
Love can be something that can take your heart faster than you could even say 'no'.
Its a theif that cannot be stopped,
Something that can break you in two,
And steals what you never used to want to be sold,
The innocence that you used to love,
The same innocence that will be nevermore.
