-I hurt myself with a potion, the glass shattered, and I got hurt, don't worry -he explains to her Lyra smiled but she didn't believe for a second that- Now go to your friends- he said with a sour taste in his mouth knowing that it didn't matter what he did his niece wasn't going to change her opinion on her friends even when he didn't like them, Lyra smiled and hug him causing him to tense up but he returned the embrace somewhat awkwardly, it didn't matter how long he knew her it was always a surprise when she hugs him, Lyra returned to the table and sit again next to her cousin that was seeing Snape walk away
