This Queen really loved strawberries, she always had the chefs put strawberries as her meal. But one day the strawberries just vanished and they never seen one grow again. They searched everywhere but... nothing. Not even one strawberry in sight. The Queen demanded her guards to kill every chef in the castle. She ordered a messenger to tell the people in the village that she needs a new chef that will bring her all the strawberries she wants. But no one was interested. No one cared about her and her greediness of strawberries. The messenger returned back, failed to bring her a new chef. The Queen was very angry, she never understood her greediness would change her people's love towards her. The messenger bowed his head to the Queen. The Queen was very angry and didn't eat for a few days. They were worried that the Queen might die in starvation and no one would take over the throne. Only a boy with her genetics should take over the throne. After two weeks of waiting a handsome young man presents himself to the palace. No one knew why he was there. He wanted to help the Queen and her greediness of strawberries but there was a twist. Young man: "Your majesty, I want to help you. This happened before with your land." The Queen was curious with this young man. Young man: "My Queen... the strawberries that I'm talking about are with me." He smirked but the Queen didn't understand what he was trying to say. Young man: "I have a lot of it." The Queen was very happy to hear that. The young man bent down on one knee and put his hand on his chest. Young man: "My Queen, I would love to be your new chef but under one condition." The Queen wondered what the young man condition was going to be. Queen: "And what would this condition be young man?" The Queen thought hard about that condition that the young man was going to tell her. The young man stood up and looked at the Queen. Queen: "Well...? What is this condition of yours young man?" When the young man heard that, he smirked again. Young man: "It's a very simple condition. Once you start eating my strawberries you shall not stop me from giving them to everyone else. Including my people. I will count every strawberry I put on your plate. The most recent dish I give you before you get greedy that's how long you shall live." The Queen looked at the young man and thought long and hard before making her choice. Queen: "Hmmm... that's very simple young man. I'm not that greedy with my strawberries." When the young man heard that, he smirked. Young man: "Let's see about that your majesty."
The Queen tasted the strawberries that the young man gave her. Queen: "These are the best strawberries I have ever had. I want more." When the young man heard that, he smirked. One day the Queen got a report from her messenger that the young man is giving a lot of 'her' strawberries away to her people for free. Queen: "Excuse me?!!! A lot for free?!" The Queen was mad when she heard that. Her greediness for those strawberries were getting worse by the day. Messenger: "Yes... your majesty." The messenger was shaking from fear. The Queen was worried that the strawberries would vanish again.
The young man suddenly disappeared and the Queen went crazy. She thought that the young man went to hide because he had no more strawberries. The Queen ordered her men to find the young man. Until she saw the young man walking towards the large palace doors. Young man: "Do we have a problem your majesty?" The young man was wondering why the king was there with her guards surrounded him. Queen: "Yes my young boy, I was searching for you. Why were you hiding?? Is it because you have no more strawberries. Your were hiding but now I have caught you." The Queen was angry but the young man remained calm. Young man: "My Queen, I don't understand what you are trying to tell me?" The Queen did not like what the young man has said to him. Queen: "No!!!! You are giving away to much of the strawberries to mine and your people causing you to hide from me because you do not have anymore strawberries!!! You are a very generous man to give all those strawberries to our people for free and now everything is gone!!! You are much to generous and I need you to stop!!! Stop giving all those strawberries to them!!" When the young man heard what the Queen has said he smirked. The Queen thought the condition was going to be simple, but now he already failed without even noticing. Young man: "I would like to say goodbye now." The Queen didn't like hearing that one bit. She gasped and furrowed her eyebrows. Young man: "My job here is finished but before I go, there are two things that you need to know." The Queen slowly nodded her head afraid of what the young man will say. Young man: "Your land will have no strawberries on your land. No strawberries until you have your 17th kid. Once you have your 17th kid you will know your time is up. Your land will have strawberries again." The Queen was nervous when she heard those words. Queen: "Okay.... So what's the second thing that I need to know?" The young man smirked. Young man: "Well the last plate of strawberries I gave you started with 100 but then you asked for more until you stopped at 500 strawberries on that plate." The Queen didn't understand what the young man was trying to tell her. Young man: "Meaning, recently my Queen.... You are a total of 500 strawberries for one meal. But don't worry, in 500 years you should already have your 17th son. Once you do you know your time will be up. I will send a letter to you by tomorrow morning, you need to read it for you to understand the second thing that I need you to know." The young man smirks at the Queen and then vanished.
