Rhea: F/N L/N. Your performance has been incredible ever since we brought you in. I can see the knights have trained you well. For your long devotion and dedication towards the Church of Seiros, I hereby grant you the title of "Knight of Seiros".
With F/N down on one knee, Rhea gently places her blade on each of F/N's shoulders and instructs him to stand.
Rhea: Wear this title with pride and know that Garreg Mach will forever be your home.
F/N: Thank you so much Lady Rhea. *bows*
Rhea: Before you head off, I'd like to grant you a gift.
F/N: But you've already given me a gift far better than I could ever ask for.
Rhea: That was mandatory to save your life. However, this gift would greatly benefit you in the future; and I guarantee you will make good use of it.
Rhea clicks her fingers and the Audience Chamber doors are instantly thrown open, one singular knight comes into the room carrying an object obscured by a small cloth. Handing the object to Rhea and leaving the room, Rhea removes the cloth and reveals a special bow that appeared to have some sort of magic effect enveloping it..
F/N: What is that?
Seteth: This is a special relic that was brought in during one of Catherine's latest missions. It's name and origin are completely unknown. The Archbishop believes it would be a splendid idea to have this officially be in your possession.
F/N: I'm sorry Lady Rhea but I must decline. Wouldn't it be better to hand this to somebody like Shamir. Seeing as she is a master of the bow.
Seteth: It was actually Shamir who insisted we give it to you. I would advise you take it and not say another word on the matter.
F/N: If the Archbishop think it's alright. *takes bow* I will gladly take this weapon. Thank you once again.
4 Moons Later
That was how F/N's existence became well known throughout the Empire, Kingdom and Alliance. Originally, F/N was simply trained as a hired mercenary for the church; But he's overwhelming talent proved that he became to good for his current role and needed to be promoted.
Catherine: Congrats kid. You're one of us now.
Shamir: Good work.
F/N: I couldn't have made it without you two. After all, you're the ones who trained me. Can't forget about the bits I learned from Seteth and Lady Rhea.
Catherine: All your hard work has finally paid of. Not to mention that you're the talk of not only Garreg Mach, but the entirety for Fodlan.
F/N: That's a lot of pressure.
Shamir: Unfortunately, many recruitment and job applications have been sent your way.
Catherine: But seeing as you're now a Knight of Seiros, all your work will now go through the church. Meaning that you should have an extra bit of free time. Especially considering what Lady Rhea has planned for you.
F/N: What are you talking about?
Shamir: You'll find out on a later date. For now, you've been assigned to assist in the outdoor activity. Alois is waiting for you.
F/N: Right. I better head down right away.
Rushing past the two further experienced Knights of Seiros, F/N prepares to not only meet up with Alois; but also greet the newest students to the Officers Academy.
Timeskip
Arriving at the base camp near the border of the Empire, F/N casually walked through grounds until he came face to face with Alois.
Alois: Ah. You have arrived my young friend. It also appears you have come with your new relic.
F/N: Yes I have. I wasn't handed any arrows so I won't be able to use it for the moment.
Alois: If what I have heard is correct, that relic doesn't need arrows. Have you tried it out yet?
F/N: I haven't had the time to. Being a Knight of Seiros hasn't given me the chance to.
Alois: Well. I don't want to be "missing" it.
F/N: .....
Alois: "Missing" As in what you haven't done with a bow.
F/N: .....
Alois: You've never been a fan of my jokes. Anyways, the students should be arriving at any second now.
As Alois finishes his sentence, the camp gates open up once again revealing many young commoners and nobles wearing the same uniform. They look around the campsite in amazement as the knights instruct them on where to go. Many of the students instantly glance towards F/N and whisper amongst themselves.
Student 1: That's him ain't it?
Student 2: Definitely. That is F/N L/N.
Student 3: He's a lot different than I imagined. I thought he'd be taller and bigger.
Student 4: He is around our age though. So he must have some incredible skills to be made a Knight of Seiros.
After the students had gotten settled in, F/N was approached by a small girl with long white hair. A gentle smile appeared on her face as F/N instantly recognized her.
F/N: Miss Ordelia. Its a pleasure to see you again. It must be two years ago now that I was hired as an escort for you and your family.
Lysithea: Yes and its good to see you as well. I must simply congratulate you on your new role as a Knight of Seiros.
F/N: Big shoes to fill now. I can't say that I'm a child anymore. You look like you haven't changed a bit though.
Lysithea: Excuse me?...I'll have you know that I have matured a fair amount since we last spoke.
F/N: You definitely sound like it. But, I'll believe it when I see it. *chuckles*
Lysithea: Why....you....*sighs* I'll accept that joke just because I'm happy to see you again.
F/N: Same here.
With a small wave, Lysithea returns back to her houses section of the campsite which leaves F/N to wander around. Immediately, F/N is stopped once again but this time by two individuals he is yet to meet.
Student: You must be F/N L/N if I am correct?
F/N: True that. And may I ask who I am currently speaking with?
Student 2: Blasphemy. How dare you speak to Lady Edelgard in that manner?
Edelgard: *clears throat* My name is Edelgard Von Hresvelg and I am the princess and heir to the Adrestian Empire.
F/N: Cool. Is there something you need from me?
Edelgard: In a matter yes. I'll be straight forward, I wish for you to lend your services to the Empire. Your skill and battle prowess are qualities we highly appreciate. Not to mention everything else we have heard about you.
F/N: I apologize. I'm currently loyal to the Church of Seiros. They helped make me into the person I am today and I owe them my life.
Edelgard: Would you care to share your reasoning?
F/N: Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable sharing such information to somebody I just met. Even if they are the Imperial Princess. *bows* I have duties I must be getting to. If you require anything else, please feel free to ask one of the nearby knights.
Before F/N could walk away, an immense amount of shouting could be heard which was slowly getting closer. Eventually, the camp gate is smashed open and bandits begin to swarm the area. With the knights and students taking arms, F/N removes his relic and grips it tightly.
F/N: Time to see what you're made of!
