Chapter 1 pg1

Narrator
It was an ordinary sunny day in adventure bay. The happiest town where everyone is happy but that all changes for a certain german shepherd... His name is Chase

Chase's POV
It was a nice sunny day and as all days I would be the first pup awake. I stood up with a yawn and a stretch. I got out my police pup pack and put it on. I went out of my pup house "Ruff Ruff megaphone" I said and out came my megaphone "Everyone wake up" I said through my megaphone.Rocky groggly got up and so did Rubble Zuma  Marshall, and Skye."Hey buddy" I heard Marshall say as he sat next to me."Hey Marsh" I replied.I call him Marsh sometimes."Race ya!!" Marshall yelled as he sprinted as fast as his legs would allow him "Oh it's on rookie" I yelled and started sprinting.I cought up very quickly. Marshall saw me and tried running faster but I wasn't even trying so I ran faster "See you on the otherside" I ran past Marshall and into the lookout and tried to stop but couldn't.I crashed into Rocky.We tumbled against the walls.I groaned as I get up."Sorry Rocky me and Marshall were in a race and I couldn't slow down" I said but Rocky looked unimpressed and pissed "Sorry!?,for fucks sake Chase act your age and this wouldn't have happened!!!" Rocky yelled.I was took aback by this " I said I'm sorry"I said softly.Rocky just scoffed and went to continue his breakfast.I was silent as I ate my breakfast.Marshall also saw but just ate his breakfast.

Zuma's pov
What wocky did was not cool.I'm going to ask him why he yelled at chase.I like his childish way mowe than his sewiousness."Wocky let's talk" I said after bweakfast.Wocky and I walked ovew to ouw secwet meeting awea."Why are we here this is where the pups and us discuss things" All of the othew pups awwived." What you did to Chase was totally uncool"Mawshall said  with a stwick face.

1 week later...
Narrator pov

Chase had of ignored Rocky for almost a week now and Rocky felt bad so he decided to apologize to chase.

Rocky's pov
I knew I had to say sorry eventually but carrying all of this is a burden.I walked over to chase," Hey chase...I just wanted to say sorry about what happened earlier."Chase only smiled "I forgave you long ago Rocky I just waited for you to apologize" I smiled as my guilt washed away.A few days passed by normally with the weekly rescues and stuff...but something happened... something bad

Narrator pov
Ryder was at the top of the lookout examining his pups from above "What good pups" he thought to himself suddenly his pup pad rang and he answered

Ryder pov
"Ryder here" I said after answering. "Ryder I need some help, I'm kinda cought in a wind storm " a farmer woman said "Don't worry farmer Yumi we're on our way, no job's too big no pups too small" I ended the call and pulled out the side of my pup pad and pressed the call signal" Paw Patrol to the lookout" I yelled

Narrator pov
All the pups tags lit up as Ryder voice shot out" Paw Patrol to the lookout! " ," Ryder needs is. " The pups said in union as they rushed to the elevator but of course Marshall trips over something and crash-land on the pups. They all groan in annoyance but Marshall makes a pun and they all laugh. After a short while the pups arrived at the top floor all jumping out in a certain spot and chase would call his cathprase " Paw Patrol ready for action Ryder sir! " after that Ryder briefly explained the missions with some pictures on the big screen. Chase, Skye and Rocky were chosen. Chase had to use his net incase the farmer fell off skye was too help her down and Rocky to do some repairs "Paw Patrol on a roll!!" Ryder yelled out and the pups went down the slide to thier perspective vichiles and Ryder went down his fireman pole into his garage the pups soon drives and Ryder's garage opened and Ryder sped out with the pups following. Eventually they arrived

Rocky's pov
We have arrived and I started working on some repairs as Skye saved the farmer.I suddenly heard chase's voice"ROCKY GET OUTTA THERE RIGHT NOW!!!" he yelled I then saw a big shadow underneath me growing larger each second. I looked up and was horrified and stunned. I couldn't move even if I wanted to "Oh shit
..." I felt the heavy thing crash on me.I even heard some bones crack in my body and one piece landed in the half of my body I felt so much pain. I saw a small puddle of blood under me growing rapidly in size.Everything went dark

Chase pov
"Rocky!!!" I yelled in despair. I sprinted faster than ever as my vision got blurry and hot tears flowing from eyes. I pushed my body harder as my legs started to ache and my breath rushing.Once I got there I immediately started digging through the rubble praying that Rocky is still alive. I moved a rock and felt joy as I saw I glimpse of a fimiliar grey fur. My joy was immediately turned to worry once I saw the shape he was in.He was laying in a puddle of his own blood and a piece of the tower in the half of his body. A clean cut. My eyes felt hot. "R-Rocky?" I called out to him softly. He opened his eyes slowly as he groaned. He coughed weakly and spoke in a soft weak tone "C-c-chase..." he winced "Rocky..." I couldn't stop my tears anymore they flowed freely. "H-hey d-don't c-cry..." he said out weakly as he placed a paw on my mouth. He couldn't apply a bit of pressure as his paw almost immediately fell and he winced. I  struggled to not cry. My tears just flowed but I wasn't crying yet.Rocky wheezed abit "C-chase I-I..." He stopped as he sighed "have a-always had a c-crush on you" Rocky said as he breathed heavily." I've always liked you too, but were not allowed to date another paw patrol member."I said.I started choking on my sadness.Skye and Ryder rushed to him " Don't worry Rocky ambulance is on their way"Ryder said.

Narrative pov
So the ambulance arrived and rushed Rocky to the ERT for emergency treatment,but unfortunately...he didn't make it he died during surgery due to bloodlost.Everyone in adventure bay got notified and everyone was in disbelief and despair. The paw patrol mourned and a funeral was held no one could stop crying chase cried the entire time with Ryder comforting him.

Marshall pov
It's been one week since Rocky died.The paw patrol even had a bad name.Our reputation was bad.All of us had to carry the burden and everyone was effected by it.Skye was just not as playful.Rubble didn't even look at Rocky's pup house.Zuma was a mess.Me personally couldn't even be clumsy.Chase was effected the worst he refused to exit his pup house.Ryder had to bring his food and when he did come out his eyes bloodshot and cheeks stained with tears.He blamed himself the most.He would also just randomly scream at night.Ryder had to come down to comfort him.

I hope we'll be fine
