Continuing where we left off in the last chapter. Libby has now regain conciouness and sees Sonic, Scratch and Molly lookind down at her
Sonic: You okay?
Scratch: Boo!
Libby: W-what?
Molly: Libby, this is Scratch. He loves tacos, napping, and acting grouchy but really he's a big squishy marshmallow, aren't you, bud? *hugs Scratch* You're so squishy!
Scratch: Come on, I'm not a toy!
Molly: And Scratch, this is Libby! She's--
Scratch: I know, I know, obsessed with turtles, lousy at softball, way too deep in conspiracy theories. I'm familiar with the Lib!
Libby: *takes out her recorder* Supernatural theory number thirty-seven confirmed. Ghosts do exist! And they're rude!
Molly: *hugging both Libby and Scratch* Finally the truth is out, Sonic! Now our two BFFs can be BFFs together!
Sonic: Yea it's kinda crazy for you I guess
Scratch: Whoa whoa whoa, I do not need or Want to be friends with Libby!
Libby: Same. I'm very particular about who I let into my friend circle
Scratch: Not everyone has to like each other all the time, Moll!
Molly: Uh, yes, they do! Look at me and Sonic! More friends equals more fun!
Libby and Scratch: Mm-mm
Molly: Okay, fine! You know what? We'll just let this friendship flower bloom naturally. With no interferance from us whatsoever!
Sonic: You're not thinking who I think you're thinking!
Molly: *Smugs* Oh, it will be!
Molly crosses her fingers behind her back. A few days later, Libby finds an envelope from her. meanwhile Scratch finds another envelope in the living room of his house; since it's a former dollhouse, the envelope crowds half the room
Scratch: My space feels violated!
Scratch and Libby open their envelopes at the exact same time. Although Libby's letter was on pink paper with turtle-themed decorations, and Scratch's was on green paper with spooky ghost-and-spider-themed decorations, the handwriting and message on it was exactly the same, as shown when the two letters merged together in the split screen
Molly: (V.O.) Meet me at the softball field after school for a super fun surprise! Your best friends, Molly and Sonic
Libby and Scratch: *Unaware of the other letter* Ha! I knew I was their best friend!
We're now at the softball field, Scratch shows up, confused to notice Sonic or Molly wasn't there
Scratch: Molly?! Sonic?! Hmm, I mean, why would they call me to a softball field? They know I'm allergic to organized sports!
Just then, Libby shows up
Scratch and Libby: *Gasps* What are you doing here?! SONIC AND MOLLY WANTED ME TO MEET THEIR FOR A SUPER FUN SURPRISE BECAUSE I'M THEIR BEST FRIEND!!!
They both look to one side
Scratch: Oh no, Is that?
Libby: THIS isn't a super fun surprise!
They see a flag with Sonic and Molly's face on it
Scratch and Libby: This is a SOMOLLY SCHEME!
Libby's phone vibrates. When she answers it, it's a video message from Molly and Sonic
