Thirty-Six
I have forgotten what it feels like to be safe under someone else's touch.
Maybe that's why I can never say I love you, or maybe because I know that we're young, and youth is the birthplace for broken promises.
Whichever was the cause, I know, I am certain, that love decided that we didn't belong. Because we were ignorant then - dancing idiots that never knew the weight of what they held.
