"WEDNESDAY! WEDNESDAY WAKE UP! "
All i could hear as I slowly opened my eyes was Enids horrible screaming.
"What do you want Enid."
" IT'S CHRISTMAS! COME ON WE NEED TO GO TO THE CHRISTMAS TREE!!! "
"Why. "
"Are you serious? PRESENTS WEDNESDAY!!!"
" Ugh fine. "
I slowly rolled out of bed and got changed extra slow today. It brought me great joy to see Enids angry face shouting at me to hurry up every 10 seconds. It did get a little annoying but that's just Enid in general.
As we walked down to the big Christmas tree Enid wouldn't shut up saying that she hopes she gets a cool present and how she always wanted a new laptop as hers was a bit broken and she couldn't watch movies on it anymore.
when we got to the tree I saw pretty much the whole school waiting in a line to be given there present which someone either from the school or outside the school has gotten them. Some got loads while others only gained one.
All in all, everyone seemed happy which mortified my dead soul.
"DANG! We're at the back of the line because you took so long to get changed!"
" you should have woken me up earlier then I suppose. "
"Whatever, I just can't wait for my gift!!! "
She started smiling so much a little excitement leaked into me. I had never gotten any presents before as my parents had though of Christmas as a waste of time and money. If course I agree with them with that but this year I decided to have a bit of 'fun' with my classmates and see what it's all about.
"Ooo we're almost at the front!!"
I looked over at Enid who was still smiling, and I felt my cheeks stretch into a small grin.
"Enid sinclair."
" Ahh yes here is your present. Only one this year Enid. "
"Oh well it's fine at least someone gave me a present!"
I watched as Enid left the queue and went to the entrance waiting for me.
" wednesday addams. "
"You seem to have gotten quite a lot darling, here you go. "
it wasn't that many but compared to others it was. I had 5 presents. How generous.
I quickly walked to where enid was chatting with Ajax. I suddenly felt something in my stomach. I don't know what it was but I didn't like the feeling.
"Oh hey Wednesday are you ready to go? "
I nodded and we swiftly left the room heading back to our dorm.
Once we got inside Enid sat down on the floor and I say across from her.
"You can open your presents first, you have more!"
I looked down and picked the biggest present first. It was from Xavier.
'dear Wednesday have a great Christmas! Hope you like the present! '
Ew.
I ripped the wrapping paper and was met by a painting of me and a raven in the background. It was quite good, however I realised a while ago Xavier had a crush on me. It made me disgusted and I tried to remove it by being horrible to him, Yet he still can't get me out of his head. He had to make the painting massive as well didn't he? Of course that's Xavier for you. He always thinks 'the bigger the better'. However I think the exact opposite. I like small things more. Which is why I picked his present first.
"Woah! that's cool!"
I looked back up towards Enid. She was smiling again. This time instead of that bad feeling in my stomach I felt something like spiders crawling on me. It felt nice.
