THIRTEEN YEARS AGO..
"I UNDERSTAND.. BUT TRAVELING THAT WAY WILL HELP US FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT IT" he spoke with a stern face, "sir, but the waves are dangerous! we can die from strong winds" a man's voice spoke up with concern.
"I know.." the other man sighed, he glanced towards the front door to see his seven-year-old daughter who had just woken up from her sleep.
"Another nightmare?" he asked the young girl, she nodded rubbing her dark eyes.
he told everyone to leave so he can put his daughter to sleep, he dropped her softly on the bed and put the covers on top of her. "father?" he hummed in response, "have I gone mad?" "What are you talking about? of course not, why do you say that?" he asked.
"because every night I have the same dream about a cat, a rabbit, and a caterpillar, it's not normal to have the same dream every night, I think I'm crazy," she said
"all the best people are crazy..y/n if you ever in one of those dreams again just pinch yourself like this," he said pinching the girl softly
"oww!" she laughed, her father smiled, he gave her a peck on her forehead and turned off the lamp. "goodnight dear"
PRESENT TIME
the car moved in silence through the dirt road, inside the car was an older woman who was in her mid-40s and a younger girl who was nineteen years old.
"do we really have to go? maybe they won't notice us if we weren't there" y/n said tiredly, "oh hush, that's not funny" the older woman said
"father would've thought it was funny" the girl mumbled, her mom looked at her, "sorry.." she apologized, her mom sighed, she looked at the girl's dress which was in a light baby blue shade with ruffles on her sleeves, "you're not properly dressed, you're not wearing a corset?" her mom asked
"no, I don't like them they make me uncomfortable," y/n said. her mother lifted up the younger girls dressed to her knee only to see that she wasn't wearing any stockings.
"and no stockings? what I'm I going to do with you" her mother exclaimed, y/n shrugged turning her head towards the window, watching the winds move the trees softly back and forth.
they had finally arrived at the mansion, it was nicely decorated and all the plants were nice and cut, the flowers bloomed and the sun was shining. "oh y/n! you guys made it.. 40 minutes later" the lady said whispering the last part, "yes of course! how's the party?" y/n mom asked the lady, "going great, y/n why don't you dance with shoji," the lady told y/n. y/n left to go find the boy
y/n walked towards the boy, "hello shoji" "hello y/n, will you take this dance with me?" the brown-haired boy asked offering his hand to her, she accepted it and they walked towards the dance floor, where everyone was dancing.
