where to father?

Authors pov: hi guys so this chapter will be an interduction to almost everything you need to know. I know its long but stick around<3

Atreus pov:
I woke up by the sound of my father entering our little cozy cabin with a bunch of fire wood. After a good minute of laying and just being silent i decided to finally sit up and ask my father where he went.

"Where did you go father?"
He turned from the fire place where he was placing some logs and starred at me and told me "we were low on wood" and just turned his focus to the fire place again.

After some time of sitting in silence father told me " boy ready yourself we are going out for a while" and without hesitation i jumped from the bed and went to get ready. I took my bow and arrow and went to tell my father I'm ready to go.

He was of course already standing by the door with the coldest expression he has and had on for every second of his life i thought to myself. Has he ever smiled before? i don't think so, it would so creepy to see him smile anyways.

"I'm ready father" i said and he just looked at me with those cold eyes and said "good"
Whilst giving me nod.

We walked outside our warm little cabin.
It was cold as hell out as always, but I've gotten pretty used to it by now.
It's always just been me and my father and we also have a friend named Freya. She thinks of me like I'm her son and i really appreciate it since i don't have a mom anymore so it feel kinda nice to have that affection in your life when you dad doesn't ever show that kinds of affection or in my case any at all. She lived another place before but we broke a curse Odin made. Sindri and brok helped her stay somewhere else where Odin could never find her. Me and my father actually everyone is not very found of Odin.
But these few weeks i know Odin only seeks to kill my father. I wouldn't let that happen ever!

My mom died at a very young age and i never really knew my mom all i know is she was a giant. So that technically makes me a hybrid of some kind of mix with the former god of war and half Jötnar Giant. Apparently my god name is Loki i mean its not really my type of name i like Atreus better named after the very greatest soldier who ever lived " the best spartan soldier who ever lived he was smiling no water what cause he had to like death, hell, war ect. He was smiling the whole journey of his life. He gave the rust of us hope, the need to live, he made us think life actually had a purpose other than war and death" my dad told me this a while ago and i really appreciate my name now.

I've never met a girl well that not a hundred percent true actually i have Freya but i mean a girl my age. I think I can remember when i was little my mom telling me about this kind of stuff of course at that time it was gross. She talked on about feelings desire and relationships. I kinda want to know what she ment by all that. Maybe I'm destined to never have those feelings... The thought made me quite sad because for once i want to experience something that is not related to killing or death.

I snapped out of my thoughts after a while and noticed we are walking a familiar path. "Are we going to Freya's?" I asked.
Father gave me a short "hmm" and stopped in his tracks that made me bumb into him. "Sorry sir" but he surprised me by kneeling down and holding me by my shoulders. " We are going to stay at Freya's for a bit" he took a long pause before telling me something
"I've been hiding something from you, a few days ago I went to Asgaard to see Odin, i wanted to tell him to stay away for me and you, he wished no such thing, he said you were the key to his mission, i left and i planned it all out. But we must first go to Freya's place, we need help and we must not stay at the cabin it's to risky"

" It's okay father i understand, and we will do everything to stop Odin from doing something terrible"

My father looked at me and stood up he chuckled and told me "boy we must plan first then act" thats the first time in a very long time i heard him make such a noise. it kinda felt nice to hear father chuckle.
