Chapter 7: Hating You

        No wonder I can still remember the last night when he suddenly disappeared from my sight. Tho telling me he'd be gone, I still can't accept the fact that he left me there thinking nothing about how those pretty eyes hide unconvincing imminence. The way his lips move upward when he's delighted, downward when he doubts, and specifically claiming a factor of beauty that composes his face.

        The same man who left me sleepless last night was the same man who stood now, meters away from me. With his back facing me, he wore maroon casual clothing paired with white fitted jeans, his slippers are a pair of exquisite leather shoes that the darkness in color contrasts like a drop of chocolate in a white milk, remarkably beautiful as he stood there.

        In front of him were two royals, the one was the Archduke. Strange i'd say, for the man barely pays a visit in our kingdom. Perhaps it is because the palace sent him a message in his kingdom to pay a visit mostly to the Marquess of Kavinojues who were currently present, or it is perhaps the king misses him to waste a day discussing the tastiest of wines or women with massive breasts. For all I care.

      With a step, I let my presence be known as I stood beside Callahan, bowing my head and slightly kneeling on to the ground to honor the presence of the king who happens to be the other man here. The same thing the Archduke did to honor my sole presence.

       "I am delighted to have your presence here again Your grace, Archduke Sitruvia."

      "So I am here my prince, how long has it been since the last moment I saw you running around with wooden swords on your hands chasing tails."

        They both laughed, the king and the archduke, while I chuckled a bit with the most unreal humor. While he just stood there unbothered, not showing any smiles at all.

       "So what sole reason do you have my grace that you brought your presence here and left the tower?, Aside from seeing the Marquess yourself of course?"

      "Ahh, yes yes your Highness, I am not here only just to see the Marquess of Kavinojues myself, of course as it was. My presence was delicately presented here to have proper discussion upon powering more the estate. And by that meaning, the king requires my solemn decisions as a part of the next step on Vonstein's sake"

       "You have heard of it I am quite sure My prince, we have once talked about this and those the last time we have done a secluded converse of matters, aye?"

       The king too spoke which made me divert my attention to him, so this is why the Archduke of the kingdom is here?. The king requires his presence upon flourishing the already dominating economy? Perhaps they'd be doing a new project or repulsing the relationship between the neighboring kingdoms.

       "Anyways, It is a good thing we have you here Prince Hakaniro, in fact we are in the middle of discussion about sending the Marquess around the palace so that he will downright witness the entire view of the kingdom. So will it be when he possesses new wisdom about the history of the kingdom"

           I looked at Callahan in shock, who on the other hand, just stood there, unmoved, but he managed to send me a glimpse of smirk. I am quite shocked but I tried to hide it under, will I be escorting this man around like a tamer of wolves?

         "We would wish for you to be on the side of the Marquess as he does so. Will that be a fine guess on you My prince?. And of course we know you will be kind enough to share with him the information he will ask for, aye?"

       As I thought, perhaps this man here once again asked for my presence to be with him for another time, so then he could leave me alone for the second time. But it is as if I can refuse, aside from being the crowned prince who was known to have mastered all facts about the kingdom and the varying ones. It is also a duty rested upon my shoulder to be the one to endorse and promote the bond of both legacies if it means the economy is on the line. With the short span of time I have to consider my own decisions, I still agreed to escort him as a tour guide.
