Gina is in a clan that wants to steal the Royal's family power and rule over the world. They had been planning for decades.
Diana's home was attacked. Her family sacrifice themselves as a last resort. The clan can't steal magic from a dead user. Shale's family hide underground, taking Diana with them as the last survivor. Preparing to perform ancient magic to send Diana away from Gina's clan.
Thus, knowing it will make their home planet slowly decay. Shale's family hoping to deal with the Clan and end their rise and bring back Diana peacefully.
Shale was suppose to go with Diana to protect her as his duty and his first mission, but Gina was able to infiltrate their hiding place and stole Shale's place. In hense of Shale's family panic and eagerness to send Diana away as the rest of the Clan came rushing in, Shale's mother planted a spell inside Gina's mind. A spell that makes Gina protect Diana away from danger.
As Gina and Diana land into the new world, Gina straddled Diana under her and raised her hand that was holding a device her clan provided. Gina tried to steal her magic, her arm went to strike down. But she could not as her own body forced her hand away. Diana went unconscious, to young to remember the events, to young to understand what happened.
Gina was 6 years old. Diana was 5.
They're in a new world called Earth. They were alone. Gina has faith in her clan that they'll bring them back. For now, she will go with the spell and protect Diana from danger, so when her clan came, they can steal Diana's magic and exploit it.
Diana had no idea Gina was dangerous, mistaking her care as a genuine act. Gina decided not to tell her the truth and goes along with this game. 'Better for her to trust me than trying to get away from me.' Gina thought.
