For some reason, the water calmed me, it kept me from thinking about the lies, the betrayal and the heartbreak, all the horrid things I left behind before being dragged into this confusing place. It seemed to make it's way into my veins and sooth the aches and pains left in my body before helping to clear my mind. It seemed as if I was becoming one with the river. It wasn't until I heard a deep voice shouting my name, did I realise that my relaxation time was over. "Skyla! There you are, we've been looking for you for 10 minutes, It's time to get back to actual lessons, lessons that don't include sitting by a river and doing nothing."
