Start of story:
SOMETIME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT
Y/N's POV
Y/n had the worst emotions piled upon her all at once, she cried silently while walking through the rain in the streets of her hometown Daegu. She was shivering. So many thoughts maneuvered themself into her mind, was she not good enough ...is she that unlikable.
All in all, he was just a freaking asshole, who in the world can be so jealous over a friend. It's not like she and the best friend are doing anything relationship wise, he was just overreacting. Y/n tried to tell him there was nothing going on between them, but he refused to listen. Even though she was freezing and completely soaked from the heavy downpour she kept walking, the memories in her mind of their fight replayed like a movie.
He got upset threw stuff and made a bitch fit. He even ended the relationship and just left the apartment she worked so hard to pay for, and the sad part was that she loved him enough to ignore the red flags and even the same boy best friend's warning. Y/n had never cried so much in her life she felt numb like there were no more tears left to cry.
Her mind was blank her feet was hurting from the long walk, but she couldn't give up. She just kept moving until she was in that one part of the neighborhood she was familiar with, Y/n made her way to the black and white modern built house at the second to last lot. She reached the doorstep wiping her tears that were already washed away by rainwater and rang the doorbell, when no one came out she began to ring the doorbell repeatedly until she finally heard a faint" who is it".
Y/n lowers her head realizing her vison is getting blurry. Before she took the last conscious breath the door opens, and her world goes black.
Jungkook's Pov
Jungkook scrolled through different movies on Netflix not being able to find a single good one. He kept searching until his eyes landed on this Christmas film that seemed fun, it was cold and rainy so why not turn on something to match the vibe.
Jungkook got up and quickly made his way to the kitchen preparing himself a nice cup of hot coco with marshmallows, making his way back to the couch he was ready to snuggle up and get comfy, but he was stopped right in his tracks.
*Ding Dong* (lmao I still can't forget Jungkook made the doorbell impression)
Jungkook was confused. Who would be out this late in the night?
He decided to ignore it but soon regrets his actions as the person kept pressing the doorbell, he had no choice but to go and see who it was," who is it ". He spoke. finally reaching and opening the door he got the shock of his life when he saw Y/n laying on the floor soaked from the rain and unconscious, he panicked quickly bending down to check her pulse. When he sees she is breathing he picks her up and brings her inside.
Time skip ~ next morning Y/n's Pov
Y/N's eyes softly flutter open her head was ponding, last night was rough. She searches her surroundings feeling soft duvet grace her back, she was in a black and white bedroom. It was defiantly surprising that she made it much less that Jungkook even answered the door. Y/n however was so grateful because she had no intention of going back right now, all those memories she had with him are just too toxic to be around.
meanwhile she was stuck in her thoughts the room door suddenly opens to reveal Jungkook with a cup of tea.
"I see your awake ", He says setting the cup down and taking a seat beside her.
Y/n tried to get up so she could face the man, but he immediately put her back down.
"You know I appreciate that you done this for me, but you don't always have to baby me" she said. Jungkook chuckles at her statement not understanding how she could try to pull a joke in a serious situation." Haha your lucky all you have is a slight headache drink this ginger tea to help".
Y/n nods her head, and the room turns silent meanwhile Jungkook was waiting for her to give him an explanation, seeing that she wasn't going to budge he spoke "aren't you going to tell me why you were at my doorstep that late in the night?"
There it goes... although she wanted to get over it Y/n does not feel like talking about it, but if you she doesn't get it out it would be very depressing. She sighs trying her best to speak, "I came from work ...went home expecting to see the one I loved". As soon as that came out of Y/ns mouth Jungkook's blood boiled after all she is in this because of him.
Y/n places her hand on her forehead her emotions now getting the best of her as a tears started to fall, she continued her story." But I was wrong. He threw a bitch fit broke things and accused me having a relationship with you", of course Jungkook wasn't surprised any boy would be jealous with such a good-looking man knowing their girlfriend. Y/n continued to talk while he was listening ..the more and more she sobbed the more his heart hurt, this guy didn't deserve her.
So, without any regret or hesitation Jungkook takes her hand away from her face turns her to him and wipes the tears, they made eye contact making Jungkook give her the sweetest smile he could muster up." i know that you're feeling sad right now so I will be the comfort you need. To be honest I hated it hearing you talk about that pussy and not know he isn't good for you".
It was like He was touching her heart with his every kind word; Y/n didn't know what she would have done without him. This is the man that could make her smile even brighter than before, she was so naive. " If he is that worked up though he can believe it, because I blame myself for not saying this sooner...Please let me be the man for you. You'll never have to cry scream or feel any sort of discomfort.
YOU ARE PERFECT" he said softly caressing her face.
All she could do was sob Y/n couldn't get a single word out, never had she thought that he would be in love with her. However just because she got out of a relationship now doesn't mean she is going back in one so early. If she is going to love him, she doesn't want any bad attachments on her heart, Jungkook deserve that kind of respect a clean heart.
She gently cupped his face seeing the sincerity in his eyes and says," Jungkook you are the man for me but please give me time. I want to love you with no regrets and hurtful feelings. Give me time to heal".
Jungkook was ready he understood her...It's always best to heal yourself before you take on something else.

Also, this took me two whole days to right because I started in the night and finished in the morning, and it also took the longest to type out.
