Never Ending

Chapter 2

When I arrive home I was hoping to find someone there but no one was home. In this two story building lived my father and I, my mother abondoned us to go to who knows where, but I've never felt like I needed her.

I went up to my bedroom so I can get ready and bath for the second time today. I'm not wasting water as what Emily said, I'm thinking about my personal hygiene and it's only healthy to want to be clean.

After taking my 15 minute shower I go to my bedroom and take a nap. Too tired to actually think, I go on my bed and for like 10 minutes, I just lay there looking at the ceiling, until I fall asleep.

When I wake up, I head downstairs to the kitchen, in search for something to eat.

When I reach downstairs I see my dad on the sofa watching TV, and two boxes of pizza on the kitchen counter.

"Hey honey", my dad says while still watching the TV, and he didn't even look back.

"Hi, how'd you even see me?", I asked.

"It's either you or someone was breaking in, that and I saw you coming down the stairs", he says.

"Ohhm...", I mumble.

"I saved you a box of pizza, I'm not cooking dinner tonight", My dad cooks yeah, I can cook but the difference is that my food that I would have cooked will not be edible.

I took the box of pizza, and started eating slice, by slice while sitting on the sofa opposite my father.

We were currently watching the Titanic, though I watched it a lot of times. Good show but because I was shy I didn't want to watch the scene were they were doing it my father, so I bid him goodnight and gave him a goodnight kiss.

I went up to my bedroom and on my bed I slept and the next thing was a blur.

When I woke up the next day I felt giddy because I jolted when I heard the alarm and thought I was late, it might have been because of the sudden movement.

I head to the bathroom and wash myself, and quickly come out. I get dressed and pack my stuff. I wanted to wear lenses, instead of my everyday glasses but Landon said I look better with glasses. I curl my hair instead of straightening it.

I wore a silk jacket that reached my legs, but had no zip. I wore jeans and a black crop top.

When I was done, I headed downstairs. I was walking to school, because I was going to get a car on my birthday which is months away.

"Morning... Bye Dad", I said at the same time, while heading out.

"Bye!", I head him shout when I was already outside.

I skipped breakfast, I'll just buy food later at the vending machines at the gas station I usually pass through.

I was now walking straight to the gas station, until I saw a familiar figure, going another direction, because of my curiosity I followed the figure. The  figure went into an alley and I found myself standing on a corner.

I saw it talking to some strange man. I then recognized the person as Aiden, the new guy in school, who abruptly ignored me.

"You got the stuff", the man asked and he tried to make it sound like a whisper but failed.

"Yeah, but where's the cash", as soon as Aiden said that the guy showed him a bundle of money. Aiden gave him the stuff and he got the money.

The guy went along, and Aiden started heading in my direction, I quickly started pacing back. I finally reached the gas station, and I bought my food and went along to school.
