As Ariana fell asleep, she dreamt. Her entire past came to light the day that Cole had came into her life. That one very bitter day haunts her. 'Come on Ari. It won't hurt' . Was the last of her memories of his cruelness. Ariana tossed and turned in bed, her nightmare's getting the best of her.

As the morning dawned, Ariana woke up to the faint light of the sun coming through her small window in the corner of her small room. Lifting her hands above her head and locking her fingers together, she looked around.

Letting her fingers fall loose, a smile began to stretch across Ariana's face. Quickly, she pushed her jet black locks out of her face and, although she hated getting up, jumped out of bed. Today was the flight to Orlando, and she was ready.

Without delay, Ariana rushed to the bathroom and rapidly washed her face and teeth. Running back to her room, she put on some clothes (A light-lilac shirt and a pair of denim jeans with strange patterns on.) With that, she did her makeup and put on jewellery. Also, she placed a hat on top of her head.

 - - -

The flight was extremely long. A sickening feeling sat in the bottom of Ariana's throat. Her head was spinning. Sitting in her chair for a bit longer, she let her senses come to her.

When the family arrived at the new home, Ariana went through the rest of today's and tomorrows 'schedule' in her head.

3:00pm - Auditions

4:00pm - Phone call - Did I get in?

7:30 - Tea

10:30 - Bed

5:45am - Wake Up

6:45 - Go to school

7:00 - Arrive at school

1:00pm - Lunch

3:30 - Leave school

3:45/4:00 - Arrive at home.

Obviously, this wouldn't go as she expected. It was 2:30 at the moment, only half an hour until she was at Orlando Arts, auditioning for a school that could change her life.

Quickly re-doing her makeup and brushing out her hair, Ariana picked up her guitar and ran down the stairs.

2:45pm.

"Ariana, you're going to be late!" Her mom called out, worry filling her voice. Ariana gave a small smile and opened the front door and climbed into her father's car.

"Good luck!" Her sister called, waving as the car rounded the corner.

2:55pm

Pecking her dad on the cheek, Ariana grabbed her guitar and walked into the school. Ahead of her was the old man, smiling happily at her.

"Follow me," He said.

Staying quite behind him, Ariana watched as colour flew past her. The lockers were absolutely amazing; people knew how to express themselves in so many ways. The corridors were all spray painted and graffiti-ed. And the principle didn't mind this?

The principle turned a corner and into a theater. "Okay, poppet. Just go up on the stage and start the audition when your ready."

Ariana walked up on the stage and looked down. A group of people were sat on a table, paper and pens in front of them.

Sitting down on the edge of the stage, Ariana begin strumming my guitar. After a small intro, she began singing the song she wrote at the park, her voice slowly getting louder, and by the chorus, Ariana was singing as loud as she could. Going quieter for the second verse, Ariana began to grow in sound at the bridge, and once again, she was singing with all her power on the chorus.

Gently ending the song with a few last strums of her guitar, Ariana looked at the judges. It was impossible to tell what they were thinking; their faces were completely blank.

"So... what did you think?"

A judge, with messy ginger hair with a bold patch in the middle, wearing shabby clothes, said, "Well, Miss..."

"Winters," She filled in for him.

"Winters," He repeated after her. "That was very good. We'll call you in about an hour on whether you got in or not."

'This is going to be a long hour ,' Ariana thought to herself.

Running her fingers through her hand, Ariana smiled at the judges. "Very well. Hope to see you soon." Jumping down from the stage, Ariana walked out.

The judges began speaking immediately. Making her way back through the halls, Ariana walked out the school. Standing by a near bus stop, she waited paitently.

"I'm home!" Ariana shouted, slipping off her shoes and walking into the lounge.

The family looked up from the coffee table, where cards were spread about. It wasn't the best game the family played, it was more of a game they played when excited or nervous.

"Hey, Ari!" Charlotte exclaimed. "Mom and Dad got me an audition at that school."

"What?"

Ari's mom sighed, "It'd be easier if both of you went to the same school. None of you have your drivers licence and you can travel together. It's eco-friendly."

"Will you ever drop that eco-friendly thing?" Ari and Charlotte said in unison.

"But-" The girls' mom was cut off by a ringing of the phone. She quickly picked it up.

"Yeah... uh-huh... she'll be so pleased! Thank you for your time." Putting the phone down, Mariah pushed her hair out of her eyes.

"You passed!"

A huge smile spread across Ariana's face. "Really? Yay!" The family all moved in for a group hug.
