Part 7

NAMJOON!! All three maknaes shouted.

Namjoon got hit by the bullet in his lower abdomen by none other than Seokjin. Both Namjoon and Seokjin stared at each other with moist eyes, one due to guilt when he saw that Joon fired on the lady who was aiming at Jungkook, the other hurt because he thought that the three older ones, especially in trusted him but it was a mere delusion.
Namjoon felt like he was paralyzed, his body felt weak, and it seemed that all his energy vanished suddenly. All he did was feel intense pain in his abdomen. He felt everything dizzy and everyone's voice felt underwater. He was unable to process anything happening in the surrounding.
Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung all three of them went wild and their anger hit the ceiling when they saw Joon being hit by the bullet. Hoseok and Yoongi were also stunned by Seokjin's action. They ran off to help the maknaes and were ready for action. Seeing all the six members in one place, the Slyers backed off. While  Jungkook carried the unconscious Namjoon towards the car followed by the four, Seokjin just stood there like a statue. His mind was fixed on the look in Namjoon 's eyes when he shot him.
"Quick Hoseok hyung drive. " Yelled Jungkook.
Jimin was trying to stop the blood with a blanket they bought for a picnic. Taehyung was sprinkling water little by little to make Namjoon conscious. But Namjoon's eyes were tight shut. His head lolled to the side hopelessly. Tears were evident in all six eyes all had the same reason, guilt but of two kinds- one guilt, of maknaes for not saving Joon, one guilt, of the older for doubting Joon.
They rushed Namjoon to the hospital. The doctors immediately rushed to the ICU.
One hour.... They waited for one hour but still Namjoon was in the ICU. No one was telling them what was happening. They waited with patience. All had their eyes welled up but they were trying to control their emotions. All were just yearning for a piece of good news and for Namjoon to be safe.
Seokjin was guilt-ridden. He was fighting within himself as to what to do next. How to amend his blunder.
The head doctor Mr. Hang Chul came out of the ICU after 1 hour, thirty minutes, and 27 seconds that Taehyung calculated by himself.
"How is Namjoon? Asked Jimin barely stopping himself from crying.
"He is stable and fine. He lost a lot of blood so he will feel lethargic, and dizzy and can sometimes faint due to fatigue. So please don't stress him and he is strictly bedridden for two months. Please keep that in mind " Said the doctor while going to attend to his other patients.
The others thanked the doctor and rushed inside to see Namjoon.
There they saw Namjoon sleeping soundly with various tubes attached to his body. He looked fragile, pale, and exhausted.
Everyone gathered around the hospital bed. Jimin sat down beside Namjoon and stroked his head. Taehyung stood beside Jimin putting a hand on his shoulder whispering"He will be okay " And Jimin just nodded.
But Jungkook was not okay. He harshly pulled Seokjin's collar and took him to a corner away from Namjoon so he is not disturbed.
"Why? Why did you do that? He was with us, he was our responsibility, and we considered him our brother, then why! Why did you doubt him? I believed you when you said that you are okay if he goes with us on the picnic, then why! Why did you inform the Slyers about it? Why did you shoot him? Asked Jungkook. There was a rage in his eyes but tears were evident in his eyes. He was hurt, tired, and guilty and many more emotions were clear on his face. He let go of the collar and sat down on the nearby chair and covered his face with his eyes and let out his emotions flow. Seokjin also cried because it was the first time his little brother was so angry with him. He also felt guilty because there was something that happened there that only Namjoon and Seokjin knows.
"The-there is one more thing you need-need to know. " Stammered Jin while looking at the clean white floors of hospitals.
"What is it now? What more is that you hid? You informed the Slyers, and you shot at Namjoon, what more is left to know? Said Taehyung throwing daggers at Seokjin. Yoongi and Hoseok were puzzled and looked at each other in confusion.
"He kn-knew th-that I would sh-shoot him, still he did not stop what he was doing and shot that Madam Hana.He knew that i would shoot, still he did that" Said Seokjin barely controlling his emotions.
WHAT!!
"Yes, he knew that I would shoot him, he looked into my eyes, smiled at me, and turned his head ready to shoot. I tho-thought that he wants to kill Kookie, so I-i sh-shot him. I am so sorry" Said Seokjin while bursting into tears because his mind was replaying Namjoon's face when he looked at him.
Yoongi and Hoseok went toward him and hugged him by the sides. The other three were speechless.
"I am sorry for yelling at you!"  Said Jungkook feeling bad for yelling at his hyung.
"No I am sorry, I should have been careful, and I am sorry for the way I treated Namjoon" Said Seokjin harshly removing the tears from his cheeks.
"We are also sorry for our behavior" Said Hobi and Yoongi in unison.
"Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to Namjoon" Said Jungkook while hugging Seokjin. He also returned the hug.
Slowly all of them hugged each other in a group hug and everyone had moist eyes but all were happy hoping that everything will be fine and now Namjoon will be included in the team happily.
What they did not know was that Hana the leader of 'The Slyers' was planning a vicious plan to destroy Bangtan.
