Chapter 12

"Stay with either me or my brother at all times today. We will not be responsible for any injuries or death were you to wander off."

The warning was mostly directed to dwarves, they seemed to be curious wanderers and I was no babysitter.

Approaching the ship, I dissapparated into the hangar. Vader was a few seconds behind me landing the ship before quickly exiting it with the dwarves tailing him like preschoolers on a learning journey. The elves however took it slow and entered gracefully, of course. They wondered in awe at the technology and people rushing around to dispatch ships, doubt they even know what 'technology' means.

I took big strides heading towards the throne room where the inquisitors waited, big strides the dwarves and hobbit struggled to keep up with.

"She's in a rush..." Ori mutters under his breath.

"Yeah! What for... lady, if we may ask, could you slow down?" Nori chirps, receiving no response as I kept quiet.

-

The elves somehow, refrained from asking questions, were respectful and spoke amongst themselves.

I couldn't help but glance at the silver haired king time to time on the fighter ship, he could kill with his eyes if he wanted to, they were sharp and cold matching his son's gaze.

-

Upon entering the throne room, I clenched my hand, making eighth brother's throat close.

"Was it so hard to retrieve something without me?" I sneered, igniting my lightsaber.

The dwarves hid behind Thorin, watching 'witchcraft'. Elrond seemed concerned; eyebrows furrowed wanting to say something.

"Sister," Vader places a hand on my shoulder wanting me to turn off my saber that hummed loudly but rather than doing so I stormed up to eighth brother placing my saber at the nape of his neck, "Do not... fail me, again."

Gasps were shared throughout the room by my action. From the corner of my eye, I saw Thranduil take a step back causing me to frown. Turning my quarters. off my lightsaber I walked out heading towards my training room.

"Alaneth!" A voice shout from behind.

Looking back, I saw Thranduil. Not knowing what to say I looked down and walked away. He follows behind me, his long tunic dragging along the floor.

"Wait." He calls out wanting me to stop.

What does he want... "If you couldn't tell, I'm not in the mood for chit-chat."

That was half true. I could talk but I just didn't know what to say. His eyes make me stumble on my words; it's piercing stare. He looked like an angel, his fair skin, intimidating height, perfect face... his physique was so alluring... his aura was so appealing.

"Ada, is everything alright?" Legolas asks from behind, "Yes Legolas, I'm just speaking to Alaneth."

God... the way he says my name makes my stomach fumble around. What am I even thinking, he has a son.

Legolas nods and heads back to where Vader was, probably punishing eighth brother or something... "Let's speak in my quarters," I said, watching him hesitate, "I won't hurt you." My voice whispers in his mind, making his eyes go wide momentarily before taking a step forward, motioning for me to walk.
