Valentino, the God of Intoxicating Love and Infidelity
Belladite's ex and the father of the Sevin Sins, Valentino is the god of the kind of love that lures people in with a sweet face and the promise of giving them the ultimate high before abandoning them out of the blue, leaving them to crash hard and become his Lost Followers, or "His Broken Toys". For those he has come back to, his "favorites", they don't fair much better and rarely escape his influence, becoming incredibly addicted to him. Valentino has been known to be a patron of music and creative arts. The origin of Valentine's Day was that it was dedicated to Valentino by a human king so enamored by him that he dedicated his kingdom's most sacred day to him and there would be a month's worth of preparation and festivals that led to the day. According to popular myth, Valentino never attended any of these festivals, and as such the holiday became one that represented love in general and not the God it was named after.
One of the select few that have escaped is the Goddess of War Belladite, who was able to escape because she fell in love with his twin brother Eppagelía, God of Enduring Love and Fidelity, who helped her escape his brother's influence.
Now, did I finally make this character after getting back into Hazbin Hotel fan music and found this incredible song about Valentino, whose possessive and abusive...? ... Yes, yes I did. But y'all can't deny that it works for this character!
