Why?
Because they're canonically togetherErison, the God of Pestilence, Plague, and Disease × Asha, Goddess of Cures, Antidotes, and Medicine
Erison is able to spread illness and disease through his touch alone; this is why he takes care to wear gloves and keep much of his body clothed so as to not accidentally curse someone with an illness. He is often commissioned by other gods to strike kingdoms and countries with pestilence, plague, and disease.
Erison accomplishes this with a massive map spanning the wall of his throne room behind his throne that only he can use; he brushes his hand against the material of the map and a mark overtakes the area he touched. A smokey grey mark means plague, a dark purple that looks like ink means disease, and black bubbles mean pestilenceAsha is the only goddess who can safely touch Erison's skin, as her helm as Goddess of Cures, Antidotes, and Medicine makes her invulnerable to any diseases he could give her. She is close friends with his sister Paxene, Goddess of Peace and Health
