Y/n's POV:
I breathed heavy for a couple of seconds, trying to comprehend what I just did.
Holy shit I was amazing. I think I actually hit something. Oh my god, this is getting a little too real.
" Impressive, you're pretty good with a gun seeing as it's only the second time you've ever used one." Bo spoke, a small smirk adorning his face.
That smug bastard, I swear to the gods I'll kick his-
" Shut up." I said, not wanting to deal with the inevitable snarky comments that were sure to follow his statement.
" What, you mad at me already? Too bad. You're gonna be stuck with me for quite a while seeing as the cops most likely have a warrant out for you're arrest now ; we've gotta lay low for a little."
" Out of everyone in the groupchat I could've been stuck with, of course it had to be you." I muttered.
" Would you rather be stuck with Chucky? Because I can turn this car around right now."
Shit, he has a point there. It would really suck to be stuck with Ed Sheeran and his marital problems.
"...Good point, good point."
" That's what I thought."
" ThAt'S wHaT i ThOuGhT." I mocked, quiet enough that he couldn't hear.
I really hope Stu and JD are alright. Seriously though, how did the cops manage to find us so fast? I mean I know we didn't hide the evidence very well but it doesn't make sense that they would automatically check Hannibal's house.
I looked out your window and noticed the dirt road we were previously driving on had turned to pavement, and buildings were coming into view through the trees.
" Are you sure going to a city is the best idea right now?" I questioned, " That's kinda the opposite of 'laying low'."
" This isn't any ordinary town." Bo responded, attempting to sound mysterious.
" 'ThIs IsN't AnY oRdInArY tOwN' Oh please, what is this, some YA novel where the main character has no parents?"
" Could you just shut your mouth for two minutes please?" Bo sighed out.
"Fine."
The rest of the car ride was in silence. The town sign flashed by us.
Ambrose, what a weird name for a town.
The city was sort of run down, but in a charming way. The warn down paint and slightly rusted signs on the structures gave the town a cozy feeling, however I had a feeling this town wasn't as charismatic as it seemed. A few minutes later we pulled into an old auto shop, rust almost completely covering the sign hanging above the big garage door. From what I could make out I assumed the sign once read 'Big Al's Motor Mechanics'.
" The hell are we doing here?" I asked.
" This is my auto shop dumbass, we're laying low."
" So your real name is Al?"
" What the hell are you talking about?" He asked.
" The sign asshat. Big Al's Motor Mechanics?"
" Al died a long time ago, I own the garage now."
" 'Big Bo's Motor Mechanics' Huh you know what it actually does have a nice ring to it." I commented.
" I should've left you on that couch and made a run for it when you were passed out."
" But 'cha didn't."
Bo rubbed his temples, resisting the urge to strangle me ( which I appreciated ).
Small A/N:
Hey everyone, it's me again. I've been focusing on getting chapters out faster than normal, that's the reason they aren't very long. I apologize in advance for the issues this may cause for some readers.
