As the Moon

Suffer this heart to love you as the moon;
To cherish its loveliness and wonder.
Allow the soft light, grant it as a boon;
Atone bitterness with fervent tender.
Rouse the memories of sadness and joy;
While I feigned ignore with a lack of flares.
The mere metier that I'm pleased to enjoy;
Amid the multitude of dubious stares.
Do not hide in clouds to conceal your face;
For I dwell in the world of restrictions.
It's the sole way I can admire your grace.
To have you is to insult creation.
I'm glad I've met your beauty to behold
The beauty I know I can never hold.
