Weekend shenanigans.

Start from the beginning

Sera: "...Your eyes are really weird. We're they always like that?"

Akali: "I won't, and tell your friend I said hi!"

The call disconnected as the light in my eyes died down.

Sera: "Woah, the lights gone! Are you sure you don't have an ability that's related to your eyes? I've never seen anyone call someone like that."

Y/N: "Woah, one question at a time. One, my eyes weren't originally like what you thought it was, and two. No abilities from me."

Sera: "Are you sure you're sure that you have no abilities?"

Y/N: "If I did, I would've stopped time or flew out of here."

Sera: "That would be... hey, are you saying I'm being annoying?!"

Y/N: "Or I would have increased the probability of you being able to know all things, such as this question."

Sera: "Now that's just being mean!"

Timeskip!

Me and sera stood at the entrance of the mall, waiting for Akali to show up. Sera groaned and hopped onto my back, wrapping herself around me.

Sera: "Mou, when is that Akali friend coming? I'm getting bored of waiting!"

Y/N: "She'll be here soon, Sera. Trust me, she's coming."

With akali...

My father slapped my face hard again as I had told him my plans of going out with a friend.

Tahno: "This is why you lost! You want to go and hang out with those stupid whore friends of yours and dumb yourself down to their level!"

Akali: "Father, they aren't whores-!"

Tahno: "Do not interrupt me, daughter! What next, will you tell me you're seeing some brat with no money, connections, and no family ties to his own?!"

Akali: "...Well... technically, that very boy you speak of is my friend I made. And the one I lost to as well..."

My father's hand was raised but stopped at the last part. He put it to his chin with a thinking expression. He smirked, sending shivers down my spine.

Tahno: "Hmmmm... you should've told me from the beginning. You should take this as an opportunity to prove your worth. Find his weakness, and crush it. Take advantage of it."

Akali: "B-But father, he's my friend. I can't just do that to him. He's new and cluel-"

Tahno: "Prove your worth, or get out of this household. One such as me and your mother do not need a failure. For we can always make another."

Akali: "Y-Yes, father..."

I bowed and quickly got out of my home, gritting my teeth. I didn't want to lose a friend. And one who's genuinely curious about the world. I quickly ran, heading to the mall with ease over buildings and wires.

Back with Y/N...

Sera was Nomming on my head.

Y/N: "...Having fun up there?"

Sera: "For a guy who's pretty dirty and probably haven't showered, you don't taste too bad. Am I being coursed into being a cannibal?"

Y/N: "Nah, you're just hungry. Akali should've been here by now..."

I heard some steps approaching from behind and saw Akali running, barely anything to help her out in the cold.

Akali: "Y-Yo, Y/N! Hope I didn't k-keep you long!"
