Chapter 1: Another New

    As the sun glared throughout the city, Lulu was fazing in and out of her own consciousness while on her way to meet up with a former companion of hers. It had been decades since they'd last communicated. Lulu fumbled with her hair and adjusted the button on her right eye, not aware of her surroundings.

    "Hey! Watch where you're going, what even are you anyways?" A man mockingly said, jolting her back into reality.

    "My bad, are you hurt?" Lulu reached her hand out to the stranger, before he slapped it away in anger. Lulu was taken aback by this gesture, retreating her steps as the man got up while walking away, scoffing in disgust.

     While walking along the pavement, she finally arrives at her destination. A hooded figure was sitting at a nearby bench. As he takes off the hood from his hoodie, he releases his hand from his pocket and waves at Lulu. "Hello there, It's been quite some time, hasn't it? You haven't changed at all."

    This man had jet-black hair, with a black rugged hoodie. Beneath it, he wore a dark-grey turtleneck. "Well, if it isn't Fright. Gonna tell me your real name yet?"

    "You really are persistent, Lulu." he laughs under his breath. "Not yet, unfortunately."

    "Wanna go have a few drinks? The local convenience store is just down the street." Fright nods in agreement. Out of nowhere, a boy with blonde hair wraps his arms around both of their shoulders. "Yo! Did I miss anything guys?" a cheeky smile plastered on his face.

    "Oh and I forgot to mention, I invited this guy too. I saw him again a few months back, I thought you'd miss your little 'friend'."

    "Repulse-S? Is that really you?" Lulu exclaimed in joy, managing to crack a smile. "Must I always bring him back?" Fright states with a smug look on his face.

    "Don't rub it in, Fright." Lulu says as she elbows him playfully. "It's good to see you both again too." Repulse-S said with a grin.

    "Going a little off topic here, but have you guys seen Timebreaker-S anywhere recently? He's been awfully quiet since the last time we got rid of him." Fright asks.

    "I don't know, he cut off all contact with me, he even severed my link with his information from my database." Repulse-S frowned.

    "I mean, he is quite powerful, I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to do that without cracking your head open physically." Lulu shrugged.

    "Classic example of the original being worse than the copy." Fright jabs at them

    "Be quiet, Repulse-S is still resourceful! At least he doesn't miss a powerful move." Lulu shot back at him.

    "It's not my fault when the opponent can literally go anywhere instantaneously!" Fright defends

    "Can you both stop fighting, when he does appear again, we can handle it eas-"

    Almost as if it were timed, a sudden inferno of flames shot up from the ground, creating a fiery wall surrounding the trio. At the corner of their eyes stood an orange man, whose aura burned as bright as the sun.
