I dedicate this story to my best friend, my sister Heather Lynn Fogarty Winowiski Nieves, who was full of magic and light, wonderment and love. She was a goddess in her own right, a light in every life she touched, a staunch advocate for those less fortunate, and a proud supporter of finding your own magical way in the world. She left this world too soon, and her presence is missed more than words can say.
